I am sooo sorry I haven't updated this story I was trying to figure out who to make the guy! So I just decided to make it whoever popped into my head first. Also, since the character in this story is supposed to be my friend, but you can't even tell because I am an awful writer, I made it one of her biases. Also, I am going to fast forward a lot of time because I bet you all want to read what happens when Minho comes home, so things may seem a little bit rushed in the next few chapters.

 

Oh Mae Rae's P.O.V.

 

"My name is," he paused a little to add more of a dramatic effect as he smiled at my curiosity before finishing his sentence, "well.... if I tell you, then there isn't much excitement for our date. Also, I need a reason for you to go on a second date with me."

My mouth fell open. The only reason I came here was to find out his name, and now he tell me that he won't tell me unless I go out with him again. I'm not a very patient person.

"Isn't there anything that will make you tell me sooner?" I asked, my eyes were filled with hope.

"Well," he tapped his chin with his pointer finger, thinking a little, before his whole face lit up, "there is one way." 

"What is it?" I was completely excited.

"Kiss me." He said.

"U-u-uh...... isn't there something e-e-else?" I asked. I haven't kissed anyone besides Minho, and I felt as if I would be cheating on him if I kissed this man, but I am not dating Minho anymore.

"Nope. If you want to know my name kiss me." He looked at me with a mischievous smile on his face.

"I will go on the second date with you." I tried to get out of the kiss.

"Nope. I won't tell you my name unless you kiss me right here, right now." He leaned halfway across the table, waiting for me to kiss him.

I leaned forward little by little, until I was only a few centimeters away from his face. He was staring right into my eyes waiting for me to completely get rid of the distance between us.

I tried to give him the quickest peck on the lips, but he caught my face with his hands and forced me to stay longer.

He kissed me for what felt like forever, but I kind of liked it. When he kissed me I felt safe.

When he finally pulled out of the kiss he put his forehead on mine with our noses touching and said, "Bang Chul Yong."

"What?" I said.

"That's my name."

I couldn't help but smile. I found out his name.

We both leaned back in our chairs.

The waitress came with our food and drinks.

"I don't remember ordering." I said looking up at him.

"I ordered before we came here." He said.

"Did you know I was going to go on this date with you?" I asked.

"Nope, but I was very hopeful."

The date went pretty well. I learned more about himself and he learned more about me, but I couldn't help but feel like it was wrong being here. Maybe I am still not over Minho. I guess I still need time to move on and start fresh, but it is hard when I am still getting over my first love.

That's right, I said love. I do love Minho and I never want to be without him.

All I can do is hope he comes back soon.

It has been about a month since Minho left.

For months I have been sitting here waiting for your return, but I don't know if I can wait that long.

Even though you told me to move on, I don't know if I can.

This could have been avoided if I just said it, but here I am wishing I said the words I never said.

After the date with Bang Chul Yong I went back to locking myself in my room. Everything we did on the date brought back the emptiness inside of me.

"Mae Rae open your door honey~" My mom has been trying to get me outside my room for a long time.

"No." I said.

"Mae Rae, please open up." This was not my mother's voice, but Bang Chul Yong's voice.

I walked over to my bedroom door and opened it.

"Why are you here?" I asked monotoned.

"I wanted to go on a date with you." He said while grabbing my hand and walking towards my front door.

"I'm still in my pajamas!" I was trying to pull my arm away.

"Fine. Go get dressed, then we are going. Arasso?"

"Fine." I ran upstairs to get ready for my date.

 Although it was the second date, Chul Yong asked me to be his girlfriend. Of course I accepted, because when I am with him I don't feel the emptiness in my heart. As cheesy as it sounds, he completes me as a person, but the feelings I have for him aren't as strong as the ones I had for Minho.

If I could just see him again to see if the feelings I had for him are still there, it would mean the world to me.

 

3 Years Later~

 

I was at home with ChulYonggie, the pet name I gave him, watching SHINee's debut.

I still haven't told ChulYonggie about what happened between me and Minho, but I want to move on and get him out of my life.

If I want him to get out of my life why am I watching this?

I am watching this because no matter how hard I try I can't stop loving him.

Today it has been three years since I saw him, and I can't stop wondering if he is coming back to see me ever again.

Although I love ChulYonggie, I can't help but think of the one I truly love, but I will never leave ChulYonggie.

I can't break his heart, like Minho broke mine.

 

Minho's P.O.V.

 

Finally three years has ended and we had made our debut. Thankfully S.M. Entertainment let us take some time to go home and see our families to tell them all about our experiences, but my family is the last thing on my mind. The only person I want to see is Mae Rae.

"Hyung, hurry up the cab driver is waiting for you to get in the car!" Taemin was yelling at me, waking me from my train of thought.

I got into the cab and we started driving home from the airport.

Mae Rae, here I come!
