Most relationships involve a promise. Doesn't matter what type of promise it is, it's still there. Some are " I PROMISE not to hurt you." or " I PROMISE not to leave your side." maybe even "I PROMISE to fight for US" . I know these promises all too well. I wish I hadn't tried my best to commit to these promises since I knew that they weren't meant to be kept. I hated myself for trying my best, while I watched your interest in me fading away. Unfortunately, I broke these promises. I couldn't stand it anymore. Now I made a promise to myself. I PROMISE NOT TO BE SO OBLIVIOUS TO MY SURROUNDINGS. NOT TO BE AN IGNORANT GIRL. I PROMISE THAT NO MATTER WHAT... I'LL MOVE ON. I PROMISE THAT THE NEXT, WON'T BE LIKE MY EX.... I PROMISE TO LEARN FROM MY MISTAKES.... I PROMISE TO LOVE AGAIN. MOSTLY, I PROMISE TO MYSELF THAT I WILL STAY STRONG, AND THAT I WIL HAVE THE COURAGE TO NOT LOOK BACK ON THE MEMORIES WE SHARED. It was silly of me to think  expect so much from someone who I knew couldn't change. I was stupid, perhaps blinded, by the "love " I felt for you. It was prepostrouse of me to give you so many chances to prove what you felt for me, even since I knew there was nothing there...
