Glancing up at the clock you realized it was time for your favorite time of the day, story time! You quickly gathered all the kids to the corner of the room and you sat down on the pillow, with all of them eagerly forming a circle around you as you picked up the story you were going to read them today.

It was a classic fairy tale, but you always like to get the kids engaged in story time, to try to help encourage them to want to read as they got older, so you flipped through the book quickly before smiling at the kids, “Okay, who wants to be the Princess?” You asked, them.

Shyly little Luhan raised his hand, and you waved him forward and put the little crown on his head, poking his nose and watching him blush brightly but smile as he quickly took his seat again. 

“Now, who’s going to be the Prince?” You asked, not in the least surprised when Jongin and Taemin both tried to raise their hands at the same time, only to end up arguing over who would be the better Prince, and before they could get it sorted out Sehun had walked up and grabbed the other crown, sticking it on his head and glaring at the other two, “Luhannie mine!” He exclaimed, sitting down next to Luhan and wrapping an arm protectively around him. 

“Who wants to be the evil queen?” You looked around, smiling at Minki when he raised his hand and you gave him the little plastic scepter and let him sit back down, admiring it with a small smile on his face. 

“Who wants to be the evil wizard?” You asked, with a small smile as Zitao slowly raised his hand up, he wasn’t very evil but he liked to be involved in story time, so you waved him up and put the little blue wizard cape around his shoulders and sent him back to sit down. 

“Who’s going to be the brave knight?” That was the next character who needed to be played, and once again Jongin and Taemin both tried to volunteer and you couldn’t help but roll your eyes, “Jongin, you got to play last time, let Taemin play today.” You instructed gently, much to Jongin’s disappointment. 

Little Taemin practically skipped up to you and took the toy sword, waving it in Jongin’s face and almost starting another fight over it, which you managed to quickly break up by putting Kyungsoo and Minki in between the two friends. 

“Finally, we need the dragon.” You almost laughed out loud when everyone in the class instantly pointed to Yifan, who looked less than thrilled at being chosen for this role, but he trudged up anyway and took his own sword. 

Now you were all ready for story time! 

“Once upon a time in a beautiful kingdom full of cupcakes and rainbows there lived a very beautiful Princess.” The kids all managed to coax a blushing Luhan to his feet as he gripped his teddy bear tightly. 

“But the evil Queen was jealous of the pretty Princess, and so she had her Wizard send the pretty Princess far far away, to be guarded by a fierce dragon!” Little Minki stood up with a grin, and waved his scepter around and pointed it at Luhan, Zitao and Yifan standing up as well when their part came. Yifan grabbed ahold of Luhan and ‘kidnapped’ him to the far side of the story time corner. 

“When the handsome Prince from the kingdom of cookies and sprinkles found out about this he immediately sent out his bravest knight to go and rescue the Princess.” It was Sehun’s turn to jump into the story now, and he all but yanked Taemin to his feet and shoved him towards Yifan and Luhan. 

“The brave knight traveled for many days before he finally found where the Princess was being kept, and he had to fight the scary dragon in order to rescue her!” Taemin and Yifan started to fight with their plastic swords, laughing the entire time as the others cheered them on. 

“Finally the brave knight managed to slay the evil dragon!” Taemin pretended to stab Yifan in the chest and he fell to the ground, though he was giggling and slightly ruining the effect. 

“The brave knight rescued the pretty Princess and....” You trailed off when you realized Taemin seemed to have abandoned the storyline all of a sudden and had walked over to Minki instead, grabbing his hand. “Taemin, Luhan’s the Princess.” You reminded him gently.

“I know, but I don’t wanna mawwy him.” Taemin explained with a small pout. “I wanna mawwy Minki, kay?” You couldn't help but laugh softly at how cute that was and quickly explain.

“Taemin, you don’t marry the Princess, you take the Princess back so the Prince can marry her.” You assure him. he still looked uncertain but he noded and quickly kissed Minki’s cheek before going back to Luhan and taking his hand instead. Leaving a blushing Minki lightly reaching to touch his cheek.

“Now, the brave knight rescued the pretty Princess and took her back to the handsome Prince.” Taemin happily lead Luhan back over to Sehun, letting Sehun pull Luhan into a hug. “And they got married and lived happily ever after.” You smiled softly and closed the book, only to have Taemin walk up to you and lightly tug on your pant leg. 

“What do you need, Taemin?” You asked him, leaning down to hear him better. 

“Can the bwave knight mawwy the queen now?” He asked hopefully, looking up at you with a pleading expression you just couldn’t say no to. So you nodded and opened the book back up. 

“And the brave knight got married to the evil Queen and turned her good again.” You concluded, making Minki blush even brighter as Taemin walked over to him and took his hand, bowing and kissing it. 

“Wait a minute! I wanted to mawwy D.O fiwst!!” Jongin shouted, suddenly standing up and looking outraged. 

The peace never lasted long with this class.... 

Yeah,  just a little something to make you smile~ I promise there will be more BaekYeol and SuLay, in the coming chapters! ^^~ Everyone will get a story!
