“Creeper,” you whisper as you walk past Tao in the little store and continue your shopping. He turns around and watches your figure disappear before he takes a different way.

You’re looking at all of the cute little Kimmi Doll stuff for your little cousins when all of a sudden that same dark pair of eyes staring at you from the other side and you jump from shock

“YAH!” You shout and eventually you two are kicked out for being to loud and disruptive.

“Tao, I hate you~” you glare at him.

He laughs and hugs you close, “why?”

You push him away, “you got me kicked out of that cute little shop!”

“Well you weren’t coming out anytime soon and I wanted to get my grandma a Gucci purse.”

You sighed, “Tao, I was only in there for 20 minutes. And what were you creeping around in there for anyways?! You said you’d wait outside.”

He sheepishly grinned and awkwardly rubbed the back of his neck, “yeah, but then it could without your presence so I needed to find you.”

You were supposed to be mad but when Tao was cheesy you couldn’t help but smile and roll your eyes at him, “I swear, now I see why everyone picks on you.”

He looks at you, “you’re just now noticing?” He asks with wide eyes and you laugh.

“Shut up, why are you being so annoying today?”

“What are you talking about? I’m always annoying.”

“Tao, if you don’t-”

“Ooh, let’s go to the beach!”

“What? I thought you wanted to-”

“I know but I haven’t walked along the beach with anyone yet… and I want you to be the first.” He says sweetly and you break into a smile again.

“Tao, I know you think you’re a very romantic person but you just need to chill okay.”

“No, listen to me,” he takes your hand and runs towards the beach catching you by surprise. “I’ll show you just how romantic I am.” He whispers to himself.

You’re stunned that he’s making you run but you don’t stop him as you know when he’s determined he’s going to get it. You two arrive at the abandoned beach breathless and you send him a glare.

“You couldn’t have slowed down so I could breathe properly?” You complain.

He frowns, “sorry, I got too excited. I’m making you really special today aren’t I?”

You’re panting that you take a while to answer him but your intense stare is enough for him.

“Just walk with me… I promise you won’t regret it.” He says holding his hand out for you his eyes hopeful and full of excitement.

Not wanting to disappoint him you take his hand and he smiles lightly squeezing your hand before you two link fingers and walk along the beach.

“Why do you like coming here?” You asked curious.

“It clears my mind, it’s like a place where I can mediate, find myself, you know something away from a lot of noise.”

“So I’m guessing you come here to think most of the time?”

He nods, “yeah.”

“What do you think about?”

“Mostly, my family, how they’re doing, if they’re healthy, if they miss me as much as I miss them, you know the usual.” He answers softly. “But enough about me and the beach, I want to talk about us.”

“Us? What about us?”

“We’ve been together for what, a few months.”

You laughed, “why don’t you tell me, Tao… How many months have we been together?”

“11 months,” he answers correctly.

“Yeah,11 months so what about us and 11 months?” You question.

“I want you to meet my family.” He says honestly. “They mean a lot to me… and so do you so I want the most important people in my life to finally meet each other.”

You stop and turn to face him, “are you sure?”

He smiles softly and nods, “the New Year’s coming up, I think it’d be best this way. I love you,” he confesses sincerely. “My family raised me to who I am today, they’ll love you too.”

He hugs you, you hug back~
