"Does this place seem familiar?"
Daehyun glanced around the coffee shop and shook his head before meeting Eun Joo's eyes. "Not really. Should it?"
"Ah, I just thought I saw you here the other day." She did her best to smile in a nonchalant manner despite her disappointment.
The young woman had hoped that their favorite hang out spot would trigger something, anything, but no dice. She held back a sigh and instead began to attempt to coax Daehyun out of his shell, bringing up music and the different types she enjoyed listening to. Even if Daehyun never regained a single memory of her, she would be sure to make his heart remember.
The mind may forget, but the heart always remembers.
