Ice cream

You'd be lying to yourself if you said ice cream wasn't a reason to live!

Myungsoo heard the familiar ring of the ice-cream cart. With a smile, he gently pulled away from Suzy and ran towards it. “Be right back,” he yelled.

Suzy wiped the tears in her eyes and curiously watched Myungsoo as he ran towards the cart. She smiled, knowing what he was doing. Looking around, she found a bench close by and decided to sit herself down. What an overwhelming day it has been, she thought. She wasn’t lying when she said she felt happy. Hell, she didn’t think she was capable of feeling this kind of emotion.

He wasn’t sure what her favourite flavour was but he knew nothing could go wrong with chocolate, so he picked that instead. “Two chocolate flavoured ice cream, please,” he said, still smiling. Then, he rushed back to Suzy, an ice cream in both hands.

“Over here,” Suzy called.

Upon getting there, Myungsoo handed the ice cream to Suzy, “I got you chocolate, I hope that’s alright.”

She nodded in response. “Ice cream is another reason, isn’t it?”

Myungsoo on his ice cream, then nodded. “It mends the heart when it feels pain. I heard psychologically ice cream-”

“Shh, Myungsoo. Just sit down and enjoy the ice cream with me, will you?”

on his ice cream again, Myungsoo did.
