Description
Cold is merely the absence of heat.
Foreword
It's so cold, even as I hide my hands in pockets. It’s too cold, even as I blow upon my fingers. My white lips are chapped. My heart is frozen. It's so cold, even as I wrap myself in blankets. It’s too cold, even as I sleep in another's arms. The bitter wind blows. My heart is broken.- Epik High "It's Cold"

.author's note
Thanks to a certain ninth grade science teacher (who made us watch water boil for our "labs"), I have always remembered the phrase "cold does not exist because it is merely the absence of heat". Although I have long since forgotten the scientific explanation, I still find the phrase rather poetic. Cold is closely connected to apathy and I wanted to explore the concept of love being an obligation that lacks the motivation to mend a relationship.
Oh, and Tablo is a wonderful lyricist with incredibly profound ideas. Stanford graduate to the core and kudos for him for wearing a "blow up" hat on national television.
Also, text selection has been allowed for easter eggs ;)
