He brought his hands away from my eyes, letting the chill of winter air sweep over my face. I slowly opened my eyes, unsure of what to expect.

We had walked all the way to Hongdae and were now standing in front of a small coffee shop. The sign read "Sunshine Cafe".  

It gave off a cozy feeling, with big windows showing off a roaring fire and comfy chairs, a couple cuddling on a loveseat in the corner.

"What do you think?" Zelo's voice brought me back from my trance.

"It's beautiful..." I said, as a gust of icy wind blew past.

"Brr, it's getting chilly. Let's go in." He smoothly took my hand and led me inside.

The scent of coffee was enticing, and my mouth began to water. "Two lattes please" Zelo ordered for us and the cashier gestured for us to take a seat.

I sat down by the fire on a soft couch while Zelo hung up our coats by the door.

"A latte, huh?" I remarked with a grin. "Most guys would get an americano, to try to look manly."

"I wouldn't lie to you. Plus, I can't stand bitter things." He chuckled sweetly, and I found my heart beating faster.

The waitress broke our eye contact as she brought over the drinks, steaming and sweet-smelling.

I was amazed. It was really delicious, better than any coffee i'd ever had, and i've had espresso in Paris.

"Surprised?" Zelo was turned to me, smiling slightly.

"Yeah... Who made this?" 

"My brother." He beamed. "Isn't it yummy?"

"The best i've ever had." I giggled.

"I'll be sure to tell him that." He looked so happy he could burst.

"This is my aunt's cafe." Zelo looked around, clearly proud. "This is where the hyungs and I used to hang out during middle school, but we haven't been here in a while not since..."

I could tell he stumbled onto a painful memory, and didn't question further.

The conversation was slow after that, with only the sound of customers coming in and out and the crackling fire between us.

"Um, oppa?" She asked.

"Yes, Rosie?"

"Uh, never mind..." She glanced at the clock on the wall and stood up in shock.

"It's late! I'm late! I never even told unnie where I went, oh god!" She flapped her arms at her side, having a fit.

"I've got to go now, oppa, unnie, will be worried! Bye! I'll see you at school tomorrow!" And before I could take another breth, she was gone.

Oh, what am I gonna do with you, little Rosie?

i'm back and better than ever!

So sorry, it's been months and months and no update, but now that's all gonna change. Starting New Year's Day, i'll update once a week, i swear. i just kinda had an awful year and updating was the least of my concerns. But now everything's gonna change, i'm getting help, i might be switching schools, and things are looking up. So from now on, i'll write every day, until i can show you guys a good chapter every week. It'll be hard, but if it wasn't hard, then there'd be no fun :) Today's my 1-year anniversary on AFF, so here's the first chapter of many to come. Happy Holidays everyone!
