After Baekho left Ren's room with a polite 'Good night princess' Ren let out a sigh and got up. He went to his drawer and

opened it, getting something to sleep in. He looked at the clothes and then lifted his head and met his reflection, he lifted

one hand and run it through his long blonde hair, noting that his make up was really too much today. He'll have to talk

with the maid about reducing the use of this...thing. He learned long ago to accept his girly features but never he will get

used to the need to look like a girl, dress like a girl, talk like a girl and just be a girl. He was a man for god sake! Yes, a

feminine looking one but still. He just wished his parents would finally tell his the reason. Why did they rise him as a girl?

They always said it was for his safety but he couldn't understand them.

The prince sighed again and closed the drawer. He walked to his bathroom and undressed, happy to get rid of the

annoying dress. He got into the tub and just let himself soak there for an hour. All kind of thoughts running through his

head. He tried to imagine what his life is going to be like now. He will marry the prince. That was not going to change no

matter what they do. It was decided by both of the royal families and though he could probably break this by revealing his

true gender he was not going to do this to his people. They needed this marriage. The kingdom was unstable now, a threat of

a big war hovering above them for a long time already and recently the things didn't look bright at all. Their only way out

was forming an alliance with Baekho's powerful kingdom. The blonde got up and wrapped himselfi in a fluffly towel, walkingout of the bathroom and getting dressed. He then jumped on his bed and rolled over on his tummy and looked at the wall.

 Ren was about to close his eyes when he heard a knock on the door "Enter" he said in a tired voice, sure it was the maid or

something but surprised to see his mother. He stood up from the bed and walked over to her "Mother? Why are you here?"

he asked as she made her way to a chair "I came to talk with you about our situation Minki" she said and sat down. Ren

dropped on the bed "What about it? It !" he said making the queen frown "Language young man" she said firmly

"Sorry" mumbled the prince.

The woman smiled "Now. You know how much hopes we put on this wedding dear? Of course you do. We cannot allow the engagement to be broken off. In order to protect out people you must do this" she said and even though her words were harsh her voice was soft. She loved her son and didn't want to see him unhappy. She knew that everything will work out.

She was more then sure of it but still couldn't tell it to her son. Not now, not when he is still in danger.

"I know mother. I 'll keep the girl mask on but...To lie to the prince...I don't think it's safe. What if he finds out?" he askedworried.

It will be hard on him but he'll manage, the one thing he didn't want to happen is Baekho finding out the truth

and hating him. The queen just smiled "Don't worry my boy. I know everything will be alright just be careful" she said in asoftvoice.

Ren sighed and nodded "I'm really tired mother" he stood up and the queen followed. She hugged her son and wished him a good night before leaving his room.

That night Ren was awake for a long time before sleep took him.

"Your highness! Your highness! You must get up unless you want to be late!" Ren covered his head with the blanket

'Annoying woman...I'll fire you this time for sure' he thought and groaned when he heard her voice again "FINE! I'm up!

Go away!" he shouted and stood up, feeling a little unfazed. He looked around and hurried to the bathroom where he took

a shower and got dressed in some uni clothes not interested in wearing and dresses or . He got out and saw the maid

glaring at him "Your highness. This is unacceptable! You cannot allow yourself to be late and make everyone wait" she

scolded him as they rushed to the dining room. "Fine fine. I got it." he mumbled and entered the room, happy to escape

her. He looked at the other people in the room and smiled a little awkwardly "G-good morning" he said and hurried to

catch his seat, trying his best to avoid his father's gaze "Minki." was all he said looking sternly at his son "I'm sorry father. I

had trouble sleeping" he turned to Baekho "My apologizes to you too prince" he said and turned back to his plate. The

breakfast was good but much to his discontent Ren couldn't escape right after it 'Show Baekho-yah around Rennie' said his mother and now he was stuck with the prince. He looked at the other with sharp eyes

"What?"
 

"Trying to figure out what should I do with you now"

"Oh really? Well how about you take me here?"

Baekho showed Ren an address on his phone and the blonde princess looked at him "Where do you have this address

from?" he asked

"My friend who came with me here stopped there. I want to see that everything if fine with him"

"And what does your friend has to do in MY friend's house?" Baekho looked at the other surprised

"Your friend lives there? Well then it's perfect isn't it? We can all have a big get together and get to know each other"

"Well...I suppose you may be right...Fine. I'll take you there" Ren sighed in defeat and started walking.

I tired to make the chapter a little...well meaningful but a filler chapter is a filler chapter. Sorry about that. The good news is that I'm going to update another chapter next week so you won't have to wait for long =)
