Description
Park Chanyeol had always had the Happy Virus: a contagious smile he brought with him wherever he went. Whenever people were near him, they couldn't help but smile back, catching the virus as soon as they did.
That's what was first intriguing to Byun Baekhyun about Chanyeol. The fact that Chanyeol was always so happy never failed to pique Baekhyun's curiosity, soon creating feelings inside him that he'd never felt towards another male before.
But what would happen if Chanyeol were to become immune to his own infection? What happens when a more deadly disease than the Happy Virus begins to inhibit him, plaguing his heart as well as his mind?
Will he urge Baekhyun to hold on?
Or will he let himself become a distant memory?

So I've been reading a lot of angst fanfics lately and I suddenly got this idea to write one, so here I am. I will probably hard and you almost definitely won't cry meaning I've failed as an author but yeah I just wanted to write one. I usually only think of fluffy stuff (no, I did not write any of my ideas down) so idk how this whole "angst" thing is gonna work out, but I might as well try so here goes!
It will probably be a one or twoshot, threeshot if I feel like pushing it but almost definitely not gonna be more than that.
