Ever since the war that crippled the world, people have been separated into two social statuses.

One called The Elite.

   They are those who have everything served on a gold, diamond-encrusted platter. They never had to experience any hardships, living without a single care in their overly-privileged lives. They are the ones who ridicule all of those below them and believe that those residing under the opposite social status are not worth even a single Won.

The other is called The Worthless.

   They are the majority of people all around the world and live in the outskirts of major cities. They somehow manage to live off the land and scraps of food they scavenge. They are the ones who never know if there will be food on the table tomorrow and wish for a better life for all of them.

I’m considered a Worthless.

   I live with my parents and older brother in an old, rotting shack near Seoul. They raised me to appreciate everything I have because of our circumstances. Life was always difficult, but we dealt with any problem that we came across.

   I learned to become strong and handle any obstacle with an iron fist. I’ve handled starvation and bitter winters since my childhood. No “Elite” would have never been able to do the same with their pampered lifestyle. They will never faze me nor take advantage of my being. I will never let any of them degrade or ridicule me because of my social status.

I’m far more capable than those so-called, “Elite.”

Why?

Because I am NOT Worthless.
