He was a city boy, she was just a country-side girl.

Her name was Park EunYoung. Of course, she didn't get a chance to grow up in the city, instead growing up by the farm side. She had always been happy and smiling, someone who was filled with laughter and joy. Her family was warm and bonded, consisting of only her mother, her brother and EunYoung herself. Her life was always spent on the rural side of the country. The part where everything was peaceful. No troubles, no worries, just plain bliss and happiness that she could ever ask for. But her longing to live and see the outside world was overwhelming. 

On the other hand, his name was Li Jiaheng. Scratch that, his name was Wu YiFan but he prefered to be called Kris instead. In contrast with EunYoung's situation, he was the only son of one of Korea's richest and most successful man. He was indeed going to heir his father's company in time to come and to become another successful man without even needing to lift a finger. He literally lived in a castle and he was educated. He could charm every girl on the planet with his naturally good looks. His life was the perfect one every human would dream of, you could say. But no, he was just a boy at heart and all he was persuing was happiness and this was definitely not the kind of happiness he was looking for. 

She grew up helping out in farms, growing crops and riding horses across huge fields. Whereas, he grew up, spending his time being forced into the institution, having private tutors coming in and out to give him a good education and helping out with his father's documents of the company.

His father had high expectations of him but he didn't actually have time to spend with his only son. Besides money, he couldn't give him anything else. He was only nineteen and he had to do so much in his life. He never had a normal childhood but neither did he let himself become a spoiled brat. 

So, he left the city one day, in persuit of his own happiness, and the kind of peaceful life he wanted to lead; without expectations of him and pressure given by everyone because he was going to be the heir of the company as the only son. 

And then he met her. Finally, a girl who wasn't clad in prim and proper dresses and adorned with expensive pearls and golds. A girl who doesn't  have her face caked in make up and wasn't batting her eyelashes at him all day, trying to impress him. She was plain but, beautiful and she doesn't know it. But most importantly, she was herself. 

What happens when they find themselves falling in love? What happens when he was forced by his father to return to the city and had to continue his life, without her, due to his father banning him from being together with her again? 

Well, true love does exist and it's one of the most powerful thing to see when two people have their hearts beating as one.

Things to take note of: 

1, This story would take place when Kris and EunYoung are both at the age of 19 and 18 respectively. 

2, Only some of the EXO members would appear in this story alongside with Kris, so don't have too much hope! 

3, EXO isn't a band in this story and so is Kris himself. They are all ordinary people and friends if i ever mention them as characters in here.
