Minho's P.O.V

The moment I saw the image of the ultrasound I felt a thousand needles prick my heart. Did I really killed my own child? From that moment I knew it's my child, blood is thicker than water. I know that it's just a small baby bump from the outside and I thought Taemin is only joking me. He likes to trick me but now I thought he has gotten too far but when I heard his desperate plea and the ultrasound picture, I'm the one who has gotten too far. Now what? I'm crying on my Umma's shoulder.

“Umma, what will I do? Taemin will loathe me.” I cried.

Taemin will loathe me. Even if I do everything he'll loathe me. I killed our own child.

“Hush, Minho-ah. You did not know.”

“No, he told me, Key hyung told me, and still I did not believe him.” I said between hiccups.

“Minho-ah, Umma and Appa experienced that too. Your Appa did not believe me, but when you were born he loved you. You're our first born child but that doesn't mean you're the eldest.” Umma told me.

I looked at him. His eyes are staring at the stars.

“That child I first conceived got aborted because your Appa did the same. I did not hate your Appa because he took care of me when I was miserable. Even if he's the reason I lost that child, I did not hate him, because I love him.” Umma says as he looks at the stars and he turned to me.

He cupped my face and looked at me.

“You, my son, are really similar to your Appa. Minho, I know now you're telling us that you're not gay but I know and your subconscious self know that you love Taemin.” Umma said.

A few minutes later, I and Umma heard someone singing. Then we heard some footsteps. As the footsteps get louder we noticed Ren is drinking Appa's Jack Daniel's. The bottle is almost empty and he looked at us.

“Nega jaeil jal naga!” He sang. “Ya babo!” He called.

Is he talking to me?

“Wait for Key hyung he'll kill you~~~~!” He sang again.

About that, right, Key hyung will kill me mercilessly. Then Ren suddenly fell on the floor breaking the glass bottle beside him and thankfully he did not got any wounds.

“Daeseung-ah!” Umma called then Daeseung came and picked Ren up. One of the maids cleaned the floor and then silence covered us again.

Appa came with a sealed jar, it's that child. I looked at the black sealed jar. The fetus is inside, I know. Appa gave me the jar, it felt hot since Taemin was having a fever. A tear crawled down on my cheek and hit the jar's lid. It felt worthless now. I can never bring my child back.

“Appa, can we burry him?” I ask Appa.

“When Taemin recovers. But for now, we need to turn this little angel to ash. We'll cremate him.” Appa said.

“Is Taemin okay?”

“Taemin is still having a high fever but he'll be fine. I told Shindong to transfer him to a guest room.”

I went immediately to the room where he was before. He lie there, his small body covered by the sheets. He looks tired and beaten. I did this to him. I'm so insensitive. I placed the jar on the side table and sat on the edge of the bed.

“I've been so hard on you, Taemin-ah. I know I do not deserve you because of what I did today. Please don't hate me.”

I remember when we did that. I was drunk and he is not. He did not know where my house is and so he kept me company to his small apartment and since I was drunk, I thought he was a girl and I remembered how he begged me to stop, but I did not. I'm a monster. Then the next morning, I woke up with my clothes on and Taemin is nowhere to be found. I'm his nightmare. I'm not afraid of me getting killed by Key hyung. I'm frightened that Taemin might hate me forever.

“Taemin-ah, jeseonghamnida, jeongmal.” I whispered.

I know he can't hear it and I know it will not bring anything back. I know. I stood up and took the jar with me. I went out of the room and I found Key hyung, Jonghyun hyung and Onew hyung sitting on the couch with Appa and Umma. I carried the jar in my hands and it suddenly felt heavier and cold. I know Key hyung will kill me. As I step on every step of the staircase, it seem to echo in my ears like a bass drum and when I reached the last step, Key hyung's gaze drifted to me, then to the jar.

I gulped a bit loudly and the lump in my throat seemed to not disappear.

“How's Minnie?” Key hyung asks surprisingly calm.

“He's resting.” I told him, my voice seemed to deepen, Key hyung looked at the jar and he held his hand out as if to gesture 'Hand the jar to me'.

I gave him the jar with my shaking hands and he placed it on the table.

“Minho, can you sit down?” Appa asks and I obeyed him

“How did Minnie handled the situation?” Key hyung asks again.

“Not good, he … … … … keeps on asking Ren to tell him that his … … … our baby is still alive.” A lump in my throat seemed to get heavier as I speak and Key hyung's stare is not helping.

“Since when did you realize that the fetus is yours?” He asks his tone is not calm and the hidden rage is coming out.

I looked at the jar. Have I told you how it feels like when you're about to die? It's not good. I promise.
