After 5 years

3rd Person's P.O.V

“Yoogeunnie, don't run too much!” With haste in his voice, Taemin -whose hair is now long up to his back- runs after a small bundle of fluff. The four year old boy stopped, big brown eyes framed by thick amount of lashes intensely looks at his Umma. He stopped on his tracks and waited for a panting Lee Taemin. Both are in the garden of the mansion.

“Umma, hurry up, Gramma said Appa will come home!” Yoogeun told his umma with a small voice and so Taemin hurried and picked up the todler.

“Umma, does Appa look like me?” The todler asks and his mother checked his face. Big, round, brown eyes framed by thick lashes; cute button nose; quite thin, pinkish lips; smooth, and soft porcelain baby skin; short jet black hair. Taemin nodded and lovingly kissed his son's cheeks.

“Yes, my baby does look like Appa.” Taemin responded while kissing Yoogeun's face with every word.

“Umma, is Appa going to ask for hyung?” Yoogeun asks while Taemin walks and stopped on his tracks.

“Your hyung is in heaven. Taejun is in heaven, and your Appa knows you're alive, arasso?” Taemin tells his child then continues to walk. I hope he knows that we're still both alive.

They reached the house and Taemin put Yoogeun down since the toddler was pleading to be put down. He watches as his son runs excitedly to his Uncle Onew.

“Uncle, Appa is going home today right?” The excited tone of the toddler's voice cannot be hidden as he shakes his Uncle's knee.

“Ne, Yoogeunnie.” Onew replied with a bitter smile which is noticed by the toddler.

“Is Uncle Onew not happy to see Appa?” Yoogeun asks curiously with his pointing finger on his chin and his head tilted to the left side.

Onew hesitated, but even if with a heavy heart, he smiled for his beloved nephew. At least he came back. He thought to himself. Even if it took him five years, at least he came back....for them. I hope.

Yoogeun climbed on the seat then settled himself on Onew's lap without the older noticing. He pecked his Uncle's cheek and smiled an adorable one.

“Auntie Ren and Uncle Minhyun will come too right?” The toddler asks Onew as he kicks his feet in the air.

“Yes, of course they will.” The uncle assured the now yawning child.

“Aigoo, our Yoogeunnie is sleepy.” Taemin commented as he carries his child off of his brother's lap.

“I'm not.” He said while rubbing his eyes with his tiny fists and yawning.

“Okay. But let's take a little nap okay? Gramma will be mad if you look sleepy at the airport.” Taemin says in a motherly tone. Onew still can't believe that his brother really matured after a short amount of time. He is not whining anymore, not that Onew minded that. Key never nagged at Taemin anymore, which was peculiar before but it's pretty normal now. Taemin became very motherly and gentle, sometimes Onew misses the outgoing and spontaneous child he grew
