“Ice creaamm~” he squeal as he ran into the store. Literally. Ran.

The ahjuma smiled at him before asking what flavor he wants.

“Hm..” he places finger on his chin as if he were thinking. Which I’m pretty sure he’s thinking really hard.

Food is an important matter to him. If he were to choose between the choices of thinking harder on a Calculus test and choosing an icecream flavor, he’d go with the icecream.

“Green tea~” he cried happily at last as the ahjuma smiled at him. Daehyun started bouncing and giggling as he watched her scoop out the icecream. No. He was really bouncing. Like a child who has been giving too much sugar.

“That will be 1 dollar please.” she smiled as he blinked at her.

.. “She’s paying.” I gaped at him as he pointed to me.

“Fine. Here.” I grumbled as I handed the ahjumma the money. He smiled before skipping out of the shop, his ice cream happily. I trailed after him, watching him eat the frozen treat with delight.

How the hell is this kid actually 22 years old?

“Why are you eating icecream now? It’s winter and so cold.” I questioned, rubbing my arms due the a sudden gust of wind blowing by. He smiled before resuming to his dessert.

“So? Ice cream tastes best on a cold day~”
