chapter three |
Catching Snowflakes
“Daehyun, at this point, you’ll probably scare away any guy who comes near me.”
It was Christmas morning and Daehyun and I were out on our date. The boy is practically glaring at any guy passing by who looks at me.
“But...” he stopped and turned to look at me with that pout of his. “You’re mine.”
I rolled my eyes. “Noo. Really? Is it not obvious enough?” I said sarcastically as he chuckled.
He grabbed onto my hand as we continued down the street of Seoul, stopping at shops here and there to look at the items they sold.
“Sunshine. Wait. I’ll be right back alright?” I nodded as he skipped off to who knows where. I’m suspecting he went to buy something to eat. Oh god that fattie.
“Hey there beautiful.” I heard a voice coming from behind me along with a tap on the shoulder. I turned around to be greeted by an unfamiliar face.
“Excuse me but the last time I remembered, my name isn’t ‘beautiful’”. I stated bluntly as he gave me a low chuckle.
“So, what’s a pretty girl like you doing out here alone?” he smirked as he wrapped an arm around my shoulder. I furrowed my eyebrows from the unnecessary skin ship.
“I’m giving you exactly three seconds to get your filthy hands off before I beat your face with a shoe until it can’t be categorized as a human anymore.” I paused for a moment before smiling sweetly at him. “Oh wait. You’re not even a human so why would that matter?”
He winced a bit but continued to display his award winning smile. Hey. I know a good looking boy when I see one but the rotten personality ruins it all. “Kai’s the name. You?” he winked. Someone. Hand me a bucket. I need to gag.
“My name’s too special to come out of the mouth of people like you.” God Baek Sul. I cannot with myself sometimes.
He chuckled as he gave me an amusing look. “Want to hang out with me?” he offered as I scoffed on the inside.
“Sorry. I already have a boyfriend.” I gently picked up his hand as if it were something dirty (which I’m almost sure it is) and tossed it off.
“Where? I don’t see him.”
“Turn around.” We turned around to see Daehyun there with a pissed face. “Now you do.”
The boy smirked as he eyed Daehyun up and down. “Baby. This? I expected something better.” I noticed Daehyun’s fist tightening as he glared at Kai.
“Step away from here.” he stated. I could see he was trying to remain calm. Kai shrugged as he stepped back, holding his hands up in defense.
“Woah. Chill man. I didn't’t know she was yours.” Kai reasoned, shrinking due to Daehyun’s intense glare.
"Get lost kid." he growled as Kai scurried off somewhere else. I giggled and punched his arm playfully.
"Jelly?" I teased, poking him on the arm.
"No, I'm peanut butter." he retorted as his lips curved into a little smile. I laughed as I rolled my eyes. Gosh this guy.
I felt a tug on my arm and found myself face to face with Daehyun. I titled my head and gave him a questioning look.
"What's wrong?" I questioned.
"You're mine. You know that right?" he questioned, staring at me with soft eyes. I nodded. "I don't want to see you with any other guys except me alright? You're stuck with this jealous boyfriend forever."
I giggled as I pecked him once on the cheek. "Who knows~ Zelo is really cute and he likes noonas. Maybe I'll go for him~" I skipped away, turning back to give Daehyun a small wink.
He pouted and stomped his foot. "Baek Suull~~" he whined as I laughed to myself.
That jealous idiot.
• His glare could kill you within a heartbeat.
