Gege, where are you now? I miss you. Come back and celebrate Christmas with me . .  Jia heng ge.

It was now Christmas Eve and in a few hours Christmas will arrive. Others might be excited for it but Tao wasn't for he knew his Christmas will be like those other ones in his past few years. He got up from the porch and went to the living room where there stood a flat screen 52' flat screen TV that was pasted on the wall, a leather chair and a black leather sofa set. There's also a small rectangular shaped low table between the sofa and the TV. Tao sat on the leather chair and remained quiet.

"Excuse me Kris. Can we watch something?" Tao asked politely to Kris who was currently in the kitchen stir-frying some food. Kris turned around and faced Tao with a sweet smile plastered on his face.

"Yes, of course. What movie do you want?" Kris asked.

"Any, I'm not fond of movies. I only watch varieties and such. You know. TV shows."

"Oh, Let me help you then. What kind of movie do you prefer?" Kris asked "Do you like action?" He said holding two movies up. One looked like James Bond and the other one was Jackie Chan probably. "Or Comedy?" He said bringing a CD up. It's a foreign one so Tao didn't know what it is. "Or horror?" He asked pointing to the shelf beside the TV. It has lots of CD but Tao never preferred watching horror. It sends goose bumps down his skin and he doesn't like those kind of movies. He gets scared easily. "So what do you want?"

"Do you have animated? Like Kung Fu Panda?"

"No but we can watch it online, it may be a little slow though."

"No it's okay, Let's just watch horror" Tao said shaking a little. "The least scariest."

"Cool. Okay uhm, Let me pick." Kris said moving closer to the shelf that contains all the horror movies. Kris is actually a fan of Horror but Tao isn't. Kris scanned through the neatly arranged DVD's until he stopped on one particular movie he'd been wanting to see. "I'll just get some drinks and chips be right back" He said holding the movie in his hand. He went to the kitchen and opened the cupboard to get some chips and when he turned around he Tao following him. "Do you want something to eat?"

"No." Tao said. "I-I just . . ."

"Let's go." Kris said holding holding Tao's hand in his and the food and movie on his other free one.

"What are we watching?"

"A Tale of two sisters!" Kris said excitedly. He never watched the movie so he wouldn't know if its scary or not but he wanted to watch it with someone and that someone happened to be Tao.

"Is it scary?" Tao said.

"Maybe" Was Kris' reply. Kris popped the DVD player and inserted the movie. After inserting it, he closed the lights and sat beside Tao. "You'll enjoy it."

Not even half of the movie was playing but Tao was already scared. He is currently hugging a pillow. -Where'd the pillow come from? Don't even ask. He is hiding his face under the pillow. He tried to like the movie but then he just can't. He's not a fan of scary movies, maybe Kris is but he isn't. Tao started tearing up.

"HOLY . AT YOUR BACK!" Kris said talking to the screen. "ING IDIOT! I TOLD YOU!" Kris cursed in English. "AT YOUR ING BACK! LOOK BACK." Kris said but of course he also knew the characters couldn't hear him for he was literally talking to a screen. He glanced at Tao and saw him crying. Oh gosh, why is he crying? "Tao are you okay?" Kris asked but Tao just continued sobbing. He doesn't know what to do and he's not the expert when it comes to situations like this. Kris pulled Tao head gently towards his chest and let the boy sob. He grabbed the remote and clicked the pause button. The room was quiet and nothing can be heard except Tao's sobbing and Kris' steady breath. They stayed like that for a while. "Zitao I'm so sorry." Kris whispered to the boy crying in his chest. Kris' heart tightened at the sight. The sight of Tao crying, looking so fragile and vulnerable made Kris' heart ache. "I'm sorry." Tao looked up and gave a 'It's okay' look to Kris.

Chapter 2: Exchanging Gifts.

"It's Christmas!" Kris said excitedly. "Merry Christmas Zitao!"

That sounds so familiar. "Have we met before?" Tao asked Kris again. After crying, Kris didn't finish the movie but instead they watched a variety show that was playing. They were so immersed in the show that they didn't even recognize that it's already Christmas. It was currently 00:52 am and Kris and Tao are sitting in the kitchen talking.

"You tell me." Was what Kris answered just like last time.

"I know we met before. I just don't know where! I know you know! YOU KNOW IT KRIS. YOU DO!" Zitao shouted at the man surprised by his actions too.

Kris sighed and inhaled air before sighing again. I wanted to tell you Tao. Just wait. "If you say so." Kris said looking at the boy. "I'm a costumer of yours. I always order Americano at the coffee shop you work in but you don't seem interested in me or being your friend." Kris said looking at Zitao's eyes.

"I . . . Really?" Was all Tao can say.

"Yeah, I go there everyday just like that Baekhyun guy but you don't recognize me because we haven't talk. I mean I tried but your always with him."

"Sorry."

"It's cool" Kris said. He left the kitchen and went to the the other room connected to it. Zitao was stunned. He thought Kris was mad at him so he stood up too bitting his lip. He started walking but stopped in the door when he saw Kris holding a present heading towards him. "Merry Christmas Zitao." Kris said handing the box to Tao. Tao accepted it and looked at the box before looking at Kris.

"I . . . I - Thank You." Was the words that escaped his mouth. He actually wanted to say 'Am i suppose to get you one too? Because if that's a yes I don't have one right one' But no. His mouth failed him. He unwrapped the gift and a box came to view. He looked over to eyed Kris up and down and stopped when he saw something familiar. The yinyang bracelet. "Jia heng" Tao spoke in a soft voice.

"What?" Kris asked.

"Nothing, I mean . . . where'd you get that bracelet?" Tao asked. "The yinyang one."

"Oh this?" Kris said raising the arm that has the bracelet on. "A friend of mine gave this to me"

"Oh." Tao thought. He kept remembering Jia heng. It's weird how he missed Jia heng more than any person in the world. More than the lady that fed him in the orphanage for 6 years. Tao never understood what he felt for his Jia heng ge but whatever it is he is happy but at the same time hurting and confuse. "Who friend." Tao asked. He know he's invading Kris' personal life but he wanted to know really badly where Kris got that. Maybe Jia Heng doesn't love me. Maybe . . . Maybe before he left he gave that bracelet to this Kris guy because it's ugly. Tao though tears threatening to fall.

"I'll tell you after you open that." Kris said pointing to the box that Tao was holding.

Although Tao wanted to shout at Kris for some reason, he know he doesn't have the right to so he just obliged. He opened the box and a frame facing backwards came to view. A Frame? Tao looked at Kris with confused eyes but Kris didn't catch Tao's gaze. Kris was looking at the wall like it was the most interesting thing in the world and he was smiling too which confused Tao more. Tao grabbed the edge of the frame and slowly he flipped it around. OH MY GOD. Is he really? Before Tao can speak Kris suddenly spoke.

"Merry Christmas Zitao"

"Jia Heng?" Tao said voice shaking. "You. . ." He pointed at Kris. "Your really my Jia Heng. Jia Heng ge?" Tao asked and Kris nodded. "So you really never left?!" Tao asked again but this time his eyes were wide like Kyungsoo's. Before Kris can answer he hugged the taller boy tightly until he can't breath. "THIS IS THE BEST CHRISTMAS GIFT EVER! Zitao shouted excitedly. He has never been this excited for how many years already. "You kept our promise." Tao said almost out of breath. "You came back!" Zitao exclaimed happily.

"I told you. I promised you. Together fore-" Before Kris can finish his sentence he felt a lip shutting his own mouth. Zitao was kissing him. The Zitao he loved and cared about ever since they met. The Zitao that affected his personality. The Zitao that he truly loves. Their lips moved synchronizingly for a few seconds until Zitao separated. Kris whined at the sudden pull wanting to feel more so he pulled Zitao by his neck but Tao stayed. Kris whined again and Tao laughed hysterically.

"Oh my Gosh ge! Your so cute!" He said still laughing.

"Why did you kiss me?" Kris asked with a smirk on his face.

"We were under a mistletoe ge. Look up!" Tao said. He looked up and Tao was right, there was a mistletoe. When did that get there? When he looked down he saw Tao smiling at him widely before pulling him into another kiss. This time more passionately.

"Merry Christmas Jia Heng." Tao said not separating from the kiss.

"Merry Christmas Tao-er"
