- After school - 

Siwon couldn’t help, but have been thinking about Donghae and Taeyeon’s absence all day, “are they together? If they are what are they doing?”

The truth is, no matter how much he loves Taeyeon, he always knew Taeyeon and Donghae’s relationship has surpassed from friendship or freinemies to something more. He knew Donghae loves Taeyeon and he knew she felt the same way for his best friend. But he chose to become oblivious to this situation. He chose to take advantage of Donghae's friendship by using subtle techniques to make him give up on Taeyeon; for example, being mad at him at the beginning.

So it was no surprised Siwon had all these mixed emotions at the moment. But it was also at the stir of the moment did he realise he was a ty friend, and a ty brother. His selfishness allowed two people who are obviously in love with each other to be apart.

“What the hell am I doing?!” Finally coming back to his sense and his natural, nice and caring personailty, Siwon ran to his love one's house. 

- At Taeyeon's house - 

Taeyeon                         Siwon 

There was no one at Taeyeon's house apart from her, as her father went to work and her mother went to buy her some medicine. So when there was a knock on the door, the sick girl had to drag herself to answer it. 

"Ommo, Siwon shi?" 

Siwon looked at the angel in front of him, and regretted coming here, "Oh, annyeong Taeyeon ah."

Taeyeon couldn't answer him, as she was coughing really badly.

"Omo, are you sick? Are you hurt anywhere?!"

As expected Siwon was very worried, he gripped onto her arm, giving her some support. 

"Here, i'll walk you to the dining table."

Taeyeon was too weak to even say thankyou, she just nodded and gave a smile. 

After sitting Taeyeon on the chair, Siwon found his way to the kitchen and poured her a cup of water. Since Taeyeon's apartment was rather small, it was easy for Siwon to find his way. 

"Uh, kamsamhabnida Siwon shi. I'm terribly sorry, you're a guest and i'm still making you do all these things."

"Oh it's okay, it was my fault, i didn't know you were sick...i initially thought you didn't come to school to avoid giving me an answer." Siwon smiled a little until he realised he blurted out something he shouldn't have, as it created an awkward situation. He looked at Taeyeon and she looked away quickly. 

"You don't have an answer do you....? Ani, you have an answer but it's not something i want to hear?"

"Siwon sh-"

"It's okay...Taeyeon ah. Don't tell me. I didn't come here to listen to your answer," Siwon looked at her with sincerity and kindness in his eyes.

Taeyeon just looked back at him confused, and then he laughed.

"You know i was always jealous on how you can talk to Donghae without honourifics....and with me, you are always so polite."

"I..."

"The truth is, i knew Taeyeon ah, i knew all along." 

Taeyeon was still confused, and all this confusion was not helping the headache she was having, "you knew what?"

"The one you always loved was Donghae....right?"

Taeyeon was flabbagasted, her face went from sick pale to burning red, "i.."

"It's okay. really", and he gave her a warm smile, "and mianhae, I always knew and i still forced you two to be apart"

"Siwon shi you didn't -"

"No i did, i knew Donghae cared for me like his real brother, so i used that advantage to make him let go of you. I've been so horrible, i'm hating myself for it." Siwon had his hands convering his face...the shame which he didn't want Taeyeon to see.

Taeyeon felt like crying, and she didn't know why, she held onto Siwon's hands but that only made him push her away.

"Dont, Taeyeon ah....don't be so nice to me. I don't deserve it."

Tears started falling down, "Siwon shi, I don't know how i can convince you to make you realise that this isn't your fault. I gave all these chances to Donghae...i poured out my feelings to him, yet he pushed me away-"

"That was because of me! I'm his best friend, thats why he didn't want to hurt me."

"Aniya Siwon shi...i just don't think he loved me enough..."

"Thats not true...please don't say that...you'll just make me feel worse."

"What do you want me to do, to let you know this isn't your fault and i'm not mad at you?" Taeyeon said why giving Siwon a sad smile.

"Go look for Donghae and tell him everything...'

"I can't....it's too late."

- Siwon's house - 

Donghae

Siwon was slowly walking back to his house. He couldn't convinced Taeyeon to talk to Donghae, she was very stubborn on her decision; however, her angelic face and voice did help him feel a bit better about himself. While walking back he saw a boy waiting outside his house. 

"Dong...Donghae?"

The boy looked up, he looked like he was about to freeze to death.

"Oh my god, what are you doing out here?! Hyung should be home, you could of just got -"

"Ani, I really needed to talk to you!" 

"Me? About what?" This was probably the first time in ages since the two boys are actually having a calming conversation. 

"I love Taeyeon!" Donghae grabbed onto his best friends arms and blurted it out. He finally blurted it out. 

"I know you feel the same way about her too, i know!  Siwon ah, i love you, i really do! You know you're my best friend and my brother, i would do anything for you. But this is something i can't do anymore. I trully love her. I REALLY LOVE HER! So, i propose that we both fight for Taeyeon equally, and who ever wins gets to have the girl and keep our friendship, yeah?" Even though Donghae knew this confession would of killed Siwon and probably ruin their friendship, he still somehow said all that with excitement. 

Siwon couldn't help but laugh, "Ya, there's no need."

Donghae was confused with his best friend's response and his laughter, "What do you mean?"

"You won, brother....thats what i mean," and smiled at his best friend. 

"I'm sorry Donghae ah.... I always knew the love you two had for each other, but my hunger for Taeyeon's love pushed me into a corner of selfishness. So you won...you won ages ago and i lose fair and sqaure."

"Wait....really?"

"Yeah..." Siwon laughed.

"So, we're cool?"

"Yep, we are."

"Oh my god, i have to look for her! Thanks brother!" and he gave his best friend a kiss on the cheek. 

Siwon wiped his face with a disgusted look and laughed, he thought he should of told Donghae about what Taeyeon said when he went to see her. But then he thought that didn't matter, because he knew as soon as Taeyeon sees Donghae, she'll defintely change her mind about giving up on his best friend.

- Back at Taeyeon's house -

It's been a while since Siwon left, Taeyeon's mum came back and gave her some medicine, and commanded her to take a nap. Donghae arrived at Taeyeon's house with alot of energy and excitement. He was glad his situation with Siwon is solved and he can finally confess to the love of his life. He knocked on the door, which Taeyeon's mother answered. Donghae was embarrased, he expected Taeyeon to answer the door; so he had to tone down his excitement and politely ask for Taeyeon, explaining that he is a classmate. 

"Uh neh, i'm so sorry. But Taeyeon's resting at the moment...she's really sick. You should come back next time"

Just when Taeyeon's mum was about to close the door, Donghae blocked it, his excitement turned into wariness, as soon as he heard she was sick, "Can i please just see her? I promise i won't interrupt her rest, i just want to see if she is okay. Please?" 

Taeyeon's mother thought for a while, "i guess it's alright, here, come in....it's the first room on the left."

"Thankyou!" 

Donghae slowly opened Taeyeon's door while her mother went back to the kitchen to finish of her cooking. 

There Taeyeon was, lying there like sleeping beauty; he wanted to just wake her up right there and hug her, but he refrained himself. 

He walked to Taeyeon's side and held her hand, and at that moment, she opened her eyes a little, still drowsy from the medicine, "umma?"

"Ani, it's me. Dong-hae"

Taeyeon laughed but then started to cry, "Dont lie to me. Why would Donghae be here? He hates me." (Reminder: Taeyeon is still a little unconscious because of the medicine)

"Taeyeon ah", Donghae started wiping her tears while feeling pain in his heart, "mianhae, please don't cry."

"Stranger, can you please tell me why Donghae doesn't love me? Because I love him so much....i love him so so much."

Donghae felt relieved, hearing that she still loved him considering all the things he did to her, he wanted to cry, "Taeyeon ah, can you look at me for a second."

Taeyeon looked up at the blurred boy sitting next to her bed, she gradually raised her hand until it touched his well-defined face, "Donghae, is it you? Is it really you?"

Donghae touched his lover's hand to confirm her answer and he then slowly kissed her forehead, "Neh, it's really me....and i love you too Taeyeon ah. I've aways loved you."

-The next day-

Taeyeon feeling alot better woke up from her sleep, she looked around her room and confirmed that what happened last night was a dream as Donghae was no where to be seen. 

She walked out of her room and sat at the dining table, waiting for her mother to cook her some breakfast, "Umma, good morning". Although she felt alot better, her voice was still really weak as she was trying to control her tears. Her disappointment that last night was only dream was unbearable. 

"Good morning, my lovely Taeyeonieeee!"

Taeyeon turned around. She needed one whole minute to confirm the sight in front of her, "Donghae?"

"Yep, here you go my love. Your breakfast, bacon and eggs with toast. Bear in mind, this is my first time cooking breakfast, so hope you enjoy it! Oh and your mother left you in my care, as she went to buy some groceries," he looked at her and flashed a smile. 

"Omo, my taeyeonie still looks like a Goddess, even though she just woke up"

Taeyeon just stared at him the whole entire time, not knowing what to do. She finally spoke, "What? You...me...Oh my god, what are you doing here?"

Donghae laughed, "Hey! Are you not going to take responsibility of what you said last night?"

Taeyeon blushed, she thought about last night. Even though she was a bit drowsy, she could still remember every single thing she said; however, she wasn't sure whether it was the reality or if it was only in her dream. 

"I...what did i say?" she said while looking away shyly. 

Donghae gave a cheeky smile and kneeled down beside her, "You said you love me...."

Taeyeon looked at him with shock, "So it's true, it wasn't a dream!"

"And... i said i love you back..."

Taeyeon was sill in shocked, she pinched herself hoping this wasn't a dream, and it wasn't. 

Donghae laughed, and held her hands, "Taeyeon ah, mianhae about everything okay? I realised no matter how much Siwon liked you, i shouldn't of just given you to him," he kissed her hands before continuing, "because you are way to precious to me, i love you so much Taeyeon ah."

Taeyeon started crying with happiness. 

Donghae couldn't help but smile, "you love me right?"

"Neh! Pabo ah! I've always loved you."

"Good! If you do, then shouldn't we kiss?"

"Ya!", and she hit him.

However, by then Donghae already pulled her head in close to his, "i really love you my angel" and closed the gap between them. 

And of course, Taeyeon did not retaliate ;)
