Song Hye Min lived without ever experiencing freedom. The freedom to run alongside the wind, the freedom to laugh until she ran out of breath, the freedom to enjoy life. Not even the freedom to fall in love. 

Her whole life, she was stuck in her room inside the palace, where not even of single beam of sunlight shined through. Here, in this dark room, she would watch the humans of another world through an enchanted mirror. She saw them laugh with their friends, sob when heartbroken, and smile like no tomorrow. Being the curious person she was, she always wondered how they could enjoy life knowing that they might die the next day. Ever since she first saw these mundane beings as a child, she hoped to try living alongside them at least once.

So, on her 1,004th birthday, she begged her father if she could live on Earth before the throne is handed over to her. Her father, having never seen his daughter ask for something so earnestly, had no choice but to comply. But, only on two conditions was she allowed to live on Earth. The first, no one must know about her true identity no matter what the cause. The second, she must not fall in love.

-Hye Min was always different. She was born with a power that a demon should not have. If word were to get out, not even her father, Lucifer would be able to save her.
-The beloved daughter of Lucifer and treasured princess of Hell.
-Never knew her mother or anything about her.
-Always loved music.
-Hasn’t met her counterpart angel yet. So she can’t ascend the throne.

Background Note: Everyone thinks that demons are malicious and cruel, when in truth, they're just like the angels. People think that since angels have powers over good things that they're pure, kind, loving, and all that other good stuff. And that demons are evil because they have the less... desirable abilities of the two. No, they're just a side of the coin, one can't exist without the other, like Yin and Yang. Every angel has a counterpart demon and for every demon, a counterpart angel.
Lucifer and God are counterparts and so both their powers bring balance to the worlds. And since Hye Min has yet to meet her partner, she can’t reach the full potential of her demon powers. Thus, her father won’t let her rule just yet.
