"You are my light, so i'm never going to let you go." Kai said softly my face.

"Why? Why would you do that?" I asked pulling away.

My feathers were starting to turn a gray color. I looked away from Kai as if it hurted to just look at him, I could feel my body shaking ever so slightly. What did I do to deserve this? Kai reached out to me but I jerked away.

"No! .... D-don't ... don't touch me, especially not now." I said.

I never felt so disgusted with myself or anyone in my long Angel life span. I felt tears well my eyes and I choked with my own breaths. What was going to happen to me? What happens to fallen Angels? Kai grabbed me into his embrace and I froze. 

"Dont look like that, you look scared." Kai said quietly. "I'll protect you from whatever is a danger to you."

You shouldn't say that. Its you who is a danger to me.
