"Can I ask you something?"
"What is it?"
"We've been friends for a while now and you know that I've always thought of you as more than that, right?"
"Yeah?" I asked, waking up a bit. "Why are you bringing it up?"
He took a deep breath before speaking.
"I know that the idea of love scares you. That you run away whenever someone tries to tell you that they do but," he paused,
