Description

Lee Jeongmin was born with the eyes of a death god. This ability enables to see others' death rings around their necks. The darker the ring, the closer their death date becomes. Jeongmin tends to ignore his ability when one day, a specific death ring caught his attention, and he didn't want it to be there.

Kim Hani was born with a weak heart that could break any minute, killing her. People would think having such a disease would humble a person, but not Hani. Hani is a selfish and spoiled girl who takes advantage of her childhood friend Lee Jeongmin. Hani didn't think much about her weak heart until one day...

These two have people wondering why...

Foreword

"What's wrong, Jeongmin? You're barely touching your dinner," Mrs. Lee asked, pointing her fork at her son.

Jeongmin ignored his mother's question and poked at his food. He took a deep breath and turned to his mother with a worried look. She realized what was on his mind and wiped with her napkin.

"You saw a ring didn't you?" Mrs. Lee questioned.

"Yeah," Jeongmin nodded, gulping. "And it was in a place I didn't want it to be..."

"Oh, honey," Mrs. Lee cooed, standing up and comforting her son. "Who was it?"

"Someone important to me," Jeongmin mumbled. He put his fork down and stood up abruptly. "Mom, please excuse me tonight. I don't have much of an appetite."

Jeongmin walked to his room with a sullen expression. As he entered his room, he shut the door quietly behind him and looked up at the clock above his bed.

8:25 PM... Less than 48 hours until fate's gears turn...

Jeongmin slid into his bed and covered himself in his blanket. As he laid on his bed, he stared at the ceiling with only one thing in his mind...

Hani...
