As I stepped into the bus, I was hit by the intoxicating fumes of old men, perfume, and stale fish. I took a seat

near a man with a large trench coat which I found extremely strange considering it was extremely hot outside.

As I sat down he grunted and shifted away. While I sat there more people climbed in the bus and it soon became crowded. Everywhere I turned there were people talking loudly or people making strange noises.

I tried my best to avoid physical contact but to no avail I was next to one large sweaty man and the trench coat guy sitting down.

I slipped my backpack off and opened it to see the contents. My books, papers, a water bottle, and my sandwich. I carefully pulled the sandwich out and examined it, it was slightly crushed but still edible. Before I could take a bite, the sweaty man standing before me snatched the sandwich and quickly fled the bus.

I was about to chase after him when the person in the trench coat grabbed me by the arm and told me it wasn't worth it. As he said that I finally got a glimpse of his face. He was pale and had a very soft looking face. His eyes told me he was sad but his actions showed otherwise. His eyes had deep eye bags underneath. Then I sat down and waited for the bus to make the stop at my house.

I will never forget that man in the yellow trench coat.
