I sighed as I waited at the cafe for Luhan. I did arrive earlier than planned but hey, he said that he needed to talk to me not me talking to him. I sipped my iced Americano and just stared at the people passing by. Luhan finally came by a little later and greeted me with a smile. I waved back with a rather emotionless expression.

He sat down with a frown. He sipped his drink then put it back down then looked at me.

"Why are you being this way?", he asked with a smile.

"You're late.", I reply with a pout.

"Kris, no aegyo please.", Luhan says while laughing at his attempt.

"Fine but you're still late.", I say.

"I know, I know, I'm sorry. Sehun was holding me back.", he said.

"Who?", I ask.

"Sehun, a patent that won't leave me alone. Dr. Kim, not Kai, said that he had some memory loss. Sehun states that I was the love of his life before the accident and won't accept that I'm not.", Luhan explains.

"Are you giving him a chance?", I ask unknowingly while thinking about Kai and I's relationship with each other.

"Well, not really.", he replies after he takes a sip of his drink.

"Why not? Nothing to lose right? I bet he's not bad.", I say.

"Fine then, I'll give him a chance", he says.

"Good. Now, why am I here?". I asked.

"Simple. The surgery on the 21st.", he replies.

"What about it", I say while slightly glaring at the older. 

"Well, you haven't told Kai."

"You know he won't approve of this."

"Of course I do. Look, I'm not trying to be a bad guy here, okay? I'm actually here to help."

"What is the deal?", I ask furrowing my eyebrow.

"Simple. Be my friend.", he states with a rather alluring smile.

"Why would you want that." I say.

"Li Liaheng. You are a handsome man. That is the only reason why.", he says and quickly gets up from his seat and walks away. I stare at him as he walks away without another word. Luhan, you are definitely a strange one.
