“Your eyes are beautiful.” He smiles back, grinning like the fool she knew. He nodded, encircling his arms around her waist, bringing her into his embrace.
His touch was light and tingly, as if she couldn’t feel it, but she could see it was there. She closed her eyes, absorbing the moment, hoping, wishing, they could stay like this forever.
