One Rainy Day

Description

It was a rainy day when I first met Key. In a good old coffee shop - as cliché as it was. To add all the irony, I didn't even like coffee.

 

It was raining, again, and I didn't have an umbrella, again. So I just stepped into a random coffee shop to avoid the heavy downpour.

 

“And what could I get you?” an annoyed and snappy voice startled me, making me whirl around. Behind the counter stood one unique looking boy. And hell of impatient. He huffed and drummed his nails on the counter. I noticed they were dark blue. Like seriously. Blue?

 

“Surprise me.” I found myself smiling.

 

 

Foreword

 

Hey there~

I know it took me way too long, but finally here is what you may call a prequel or a backstory to my previous two-shot Amnesia.

You don't have to read original story to understand what is happening, Amnesia is actually more like a part of this one.

So the majority of this is written in Jonghyun's POV apart from the somewhat changed version of Amnesia as Key's POV. Also there are some pretty big time gaps, just so you know.

If you enjoy reading with music on, I'd highly reccomend listening to Nell's Slip Away album (also take a closer look at the music video of The Day Before, it has been such an inspiration, for me at least):

Chapter 10: This story needs a sequel. I feel so overwhelmed with that ending. Even if its just one chapter long, please consider making one.

Chapter 10: This story is really quite touching...for some reason it even moved me into tears. I've never encountered fics with amnesia related since i know its a very touchy subject for me. But thankfully, i found a fic worth reading all over and over again. ^-^
