"Jessica!" Yoona called, seeing her best friend taking another bite of her sandwich. They were both at a cafe, busily eating their lunch. The two girls were talking about who knows what, but the conversation was cut when Jessica suddenly began spacing out. Just like all those other times. The elder simply stared to the floor, looking up from where she had previously been looking with an indifferent expression.

"Yes?" Jessica questioned, not really knowing why Yoona was giving her such a confused look. A group of about 4 or 5 men passed, giving a slight whistle as they passed her and Yoona. The two girls didn't react, not at the smirks and not at the way they eyed their bodies up and down, the two couldn't have cared less about those boys.

"Why do you keep spacing out?" Yoona asked. She knew, Jessica had a habit of spacing out, but lately though, it had become more frequent than what was considered 'normal'.

"Don't know." Jessica muttered, taking a sip of her drink, shrugging slightly. Yoona gave a light scowl, taking a bite of her own sandwich. Jessica's eyes wondered down once again, perhaps lying was pointless in this situation. She did know why she was spacing out, but she could have never told Yoona though. Not now anyway. Yoona's phone began to ring, the younger smiled. Jessica's eyes jolted up, knowing exactly who it was. Without a single doubt in her mind, it was Yoona's boyfriend.

The elder couldn't help but giggle, watching her bestfriend smile ever so foolishly, giggling uncontrollably. But then again, that was what love did for people. It caused the sane to become insane and the strong become weak. Jessica couldn't blame Yoona or anything, she knew how it felt to be in love. She knew all the awkward actions a person did just because of their loved one.

"Hello?" Yoona asked into the phone, not paying attention to Jessica anymore. The elder rolled her eyes, not really minding. Yoona was so caught up in her conversation with her boyfriend that she didn't realise Jessica, her eye's becoming gentle with a text. Jessica smiled to herself, looking down at her phone. He had finally texted her. Jessica really was going to give him hell for not calling sooner.

Without a word to Yoona, Jessica stood up from her seat. She smoothed over her wrinkled clothes, taking her bag and placing it over her shoulder. Yoona looked up to her friend, giving a slight sigh. She thought that if Jessica had a boyfriend, then she wouldn't have to be like this. But then again, Jessica never said she was single, not that Yoona ever acknowledged that fact.

"You really need a boyfriend." Yoona muttered, Jessica simply nodded. She wasn't going to say anything against it, but she wasn't going to say anything which made it seem like she agreed with the statement either.

Okay." Jessica replied, stepping behind her chair and pushing it in. She had somewhere to be. And she definitely wasn't going to be late.

"Where are you going?" Yoona questioned, wondering why her bestfriend would appear and disappear without a word. This wasn't the first time it had happened, and it wouldn't be the last. Jessica shrugged once again, quickly dashing away after muttering only a couple words.

"I need to get home."

Jessica scowled lightly, looking at her watch. It had been about 7 minutes, and he still wasn't there. Even though she couldn't openly admit that 7 minutes was not a large amount of time, and that she was willing to wait at least an hour for him to show, Jessica acted as if she was angry and annoyed. Who knows who was watching.

With a final sigh, Jessica closed her eyes, attempting to calm down her wavering heart. Even though it was always like this, even though she had been through this situation so many times, it felt like the first. It always felt like this, as if she were meeting him for the first time. As if she were on her very first date. The anxiety, the beating on the heart, the nerve-wrecking waiting, it was all so familiar. It was just like the first time she met... Cho Kyuhyun. Her bestfriend, her boyfriend, her lover. Jessica clearly remembered it, seeing Kyuhyun. Her cheeks began to heat, and then, her eyes widened.

"Boo." Someone whispered in her ear huskily from behind, giving her a gentle, warm back-hug. Jessica froze, it was Kyuhyun. He always did this, he would appear at the most unexpected times. Jessica whined, feeling the blood run to her face. After having herself tense up at the sudden touch, Jessica heard Kyuhyun's laughter ringing through her ears. Not the mockery type of laughter though, the laughter Kyuhyun had was soft, a laughter which simply displayed his adoration for the younger. His beautiful girlfriend.

"Oppa." Jessica mumbled, allowing her body to relax in Kyuhyun's arms, pretty much allowing the elder to hold her up. Kyuhyun smiled, holding the other tightly. Jessica knew he was happy, even though he didn't say anything.

"Miss me?" Kyuhyun questioned happily, almost childishly, the tone of mischief detectable. Jessica attempted to suppress her growing smile, failing quickly. She didn't know why, but with Kyuhyun, she simply couldn't help but be like this. Jessica gave up without a second thought, giving a light giggle before retorting the coment.

"You're too annoying to miss." Jessica replied, causing Kyuhyun to laugh. They were always like this, as childish and lovable as children were.

"Liar. Even if I am annoying, you love me." Kyuhyun said, Jessica couldn't deny it.

"I never said I didn't." Jessica retorted, causing Kyuhyun to laugh. Still held in Kyuhyun's arms, Jessica turned herself to face her lover, seeing his pretty face. He gave her a smug look, a look he was pretty much known for. Jessica's arms found their way to grip Kyuhyun's shirt, pulling slightly to give her more height. Kyuhyun did often tease Jessica about her size.

The moment, the atmosphere, it all seemed to fit into place. Kyuhyun brough Jessica's body closer, feeling even more warmth. Jessica laughed, not bothering to fight against it. Kyuhyun stared into Jessica's eyes, causing the both of them to freeze for a second. To look at the other and think 'This is the most beautiful person in the world', that was what love was meant to be like. To see your lover in all their stages, phases, looks and outfits, yet think they look amazing in every one of them.

Kyuhyun bent slightly, leaning in for a kiss.

The other obliged.

Jessica smiled, lips pressed against her lover's. Kyuhyun's. It felt so nice, so sweet. Jessica couldn't remember who else could have made her feel like Kyuhyun. No other man made Jessica feel as warm, as wanted, as safe. As loved. Kyuhyun was special to Jessica, he was, now that she had come to acknowledge her slight possessiveness, her's. Before, Jessica always shyed away from such words, not wanting anyone to know her thoughts, but now, she felt comfortable with it. Kyuhyun laughed every time she spoke like that, usually agreeing with their words. Other people, Jessica's friends, would have scolded her for her behaviour.

But then again, none of Jessica's friends knew about Kyuhyun.

Most girls loved to flaunt their boyfriends, telling people every little detail for their love life. Jessica wasn't like that though, she never uttered a word about Kyuhyun. It wasn't because she was ashamed or anything, it was a different reason. Kyuhyun was perfect in her eyes, in everyone's eyes. And that's exactly why Jessica kept shut.

Most boys were the type who you would want to bring around town to show off.

Not Kyuhyun though. Kyuhyun wasn't the type of boy you would walk around town with. Definitely not.

Kyuhyun was the type of boy who you would meet in secret, so that no one could have him except you.
