It was Strong Heart, one of the most successful Korean shows to ever broadcast. Kang Hodong and Seunggi were there as host... Plus all the Super Junior members, the Girls' Generation members and Boom. Everybody was beaming happy at the sight of Cho Kyuhyun, the maknae of Super Junior, who was sitting in the front row. It was 2018, he had come back from doing his army service.

"We now introduce the very last member of Super Junior to entered the army and come back... Cho Kyuhyun!" Hodong introduced in his usual manner. With the sight of Kyuhyun, fans cheered loudly from the audience. Kyuhyun smiled, bowing slightly with a smile. A smile that everybody had missed so badly. It had been 2 years.

"Hello." Kyuhyun spoke, voice as soothing as ever. The cheers kept going, as did Kyuhyun who simply kept smiling. How he had missed seeing his fans. The ocean of blue. E.L.Fs.

"After all these years, you haven't aged a day." Seunggi said, acknowledging Kyuhyun's healthy skin. Well, Kyuhyun did always say that drinking water was important. To that comment, Kyuhyun gave a slight smirk.

"I know I haven't, but it seems that you have." Kyuhyun quickly retorted, causing the crowd in the audience, the staff and everyone on stage to start laughing. It seemed that his personality hadn't changed.

"Kyuhyun's back!" Hodong exclaimed, causing more cheers. Kyuhyun laughed.

"Still as sharp tongued as always. We were all expecting your tongue to become blunt." Seunggi spoke, finding Kyuhyun's comment funny.

"It couldn't have, Kim Gura made sure to call me to keep me in check." Kyuhyun added, causing more laughter.

And that was how the show started up. Everyone was in a very good mood. The Super Junior and Girls' Generation members spoke of their happiness in Kyuhyun's return, a couple of them even tearing up. It was all going well. Kyuhyun was being his usual self when it came to making sharp comments. And since everyone missed him so much, nobody really cared. Soon though, a question was brought up which caused a lot of people, mainly Kyuhyun and Seohyun, to think about them.

"So, who visited you and called why you were in the army?" Hodong asked in a wondrous tone to Kyuhyun. When Hodong said 'who', he referred to an idol. The Super Junior maknae let out a slight sigh, eyes darting towards the ceiling as he thought.

"Hm... Although many people called and visited me... I'd have to say that Girls' Generation's Seohyun-shii visited me quite a bit. She often came to see, not to mention the non-stop phonecalls." Kyuhyun spoke, smiling slightly when he heard Seohyun's laughter. He was sitting behind her. The audience made a sound of acknowledgement, as did the hosts. It seemed that there were some 'SeoKyu' shippers present. The Super Junior and Girls' Generation members had no reaction though, they already knew.

"Really? Seohyun did?" Seunggi asked in a surprised tone of voice, Kyuhyun and Seohyun nodded at the same time. Silent laughs from other people were quickly heard.

"Out of all the Girls' Generation members, Seohyun visited Kyuhyun the most." Leeteuk said, adding this comment so that people knew that even the Super Junior membesr acknowledged this fact.

"...And why is that?" Hodong asked. It seemed that he had caught onto something. Kyuhyun didn't really pay attention to it though.

"In all of Girls' Generation, I am closest to Seohyun-shii." Kyuhyun stated in a 'matter-of-fact' way. Seohyun nodded from behind Kyuhyun, showing that she completely agreed with his statement.

"It's true. In his album's 'Thanks's to', Seohyun's name is always there." Sooyoung quickly added, causing the audience to make many sounds of 'ooohs' and 'ahhs'.

"Ahhh... How did you become so close?" Seunggi asked Kyuhyun curiously, knowing of Seohyun's somewhat awkward nature.

"Hmm... Well, Seohyun and I have done many duets together. We even held hands. Also, we also sometimes are arranged to dance together as partners. Thus, we spent a lot of time together. From that, we naturally became close." Kyuhyun told them, everyone nodded.

"...Did anything happen between you two?" Hodong asked. With that question, Kyuhyun and Seohyun gave a twisted expression. They really couldn't understand what Hodong was talking about.

"...What do you mean?" Seohyun asked in her polite language. The others sighed. Oh, how obliviously innocent the maknaes were to each other.

"Did anything happen to your relationship...?" Hodong asked once again, the maknaes still didn't understand.

"..." Kyuhyun and Seohyun stared at Kang Hodong, not really understanding his question. Kyuhyun turned his chair, staring at Seohyun for two seconds before turning back to Hodong.

"...Nothing really. Our relationship is pretty much the same." Kyuhyun spoke, ruffling his own hair in confusion.

"Really?" Seunggi questioned, the maknaes nodded.

"Yeah. Why?" Kyuhyun asked rhetorically.

"Is our relationship supposed to change?" Seohyun quickly asked after Kyuhyun, equally as confused.

"...The oblivious maknaes..." Taeyeon sighed to herself, even though she was younger than Kyuhyun.

"What?" Hodong asked, seeing Taeyeon's lips move, Taeyeon quickly shook her hand.

"N-Nothing." Taeyeon stuttered slightly.

"...How much time do you two spend with each other?" Hodong pressed on, he did like to be like this.

"Well... Due to our schedules, we are not often able to be together. Thus, we communicate often through texting and phonecalls." Seohyun answered properly, Kyuhyun couldn't help but smile at the way Seohyun spoke.

"Is it only with Kyuhyun?" Seunggi questioned, Seohyun thought for a little.

"...I keep in contact with many of my oppas, but I keep in contact with Kyuhyun oppa the most." Seohyun replied, Kyuhyun nodded.

"Why?" Hodong asked in a suspicious manner. Seohyun raised a brow.

"...What do you mean?" Seohyun asked in a somewhat innocent way, something she was known for.

"Why do you keep in contact with Kyuhyun the most?" Hodong questioned once again, Seohyun thought.

"...I... I don't actually know... Kyuhyun oppa, why do I keep in contact with you the most?" Seohyun asked Kyuhyun, the Super Junior member turned to the other maknae.

"Am I supposed to know that?" Kyuhyun questioned rhetorically, causing Seohyun to laugh quietly. Kyuhyun chuckled along side her.

"They're just like this, there's no point in questioning it." Eunhyuk finally spoke, trying to let the topic drop. It were normally this way.

"They've always been like this, for the past many years." Hyoyeon added.

Kyuhyun turned to Seohyun, they stared at each other for a second, smiling innocently. Then, after, the maknaes turned back to the audiencel hoping no one had seen them lookng at each other.

"Joohyun." Kyuhyun called quietly, seeing Seohyun waiting outside the building in which they had filmed Strong Heart. Seohyun turned to Kyuhyun, showing him her best and most beautiful smile. Kyuhyun couldn't help but smile back.

"Oppa." Seohyun spoke happily in an unusually hyper way, Kyuhyun let himself become entranced by her voice saying that. He wasn't really the type of person who went insane over a girl calling them 'oppa'. But for some reason, when Seohyun said it... It simply felt different. Her voice was unique, sweet and mature. But perhaps Kyuhyun was simply exaggerating it though.

"Where are the others?" Kyuhyun questioned, 'others' referring to the Girls' Generation members. It was rare to find only one of them without having a bunch close by.

"They left." Seohyun said in a rather blunt way, Kyuhyun gave a surprised look.

"Huh? Without you?" Kyuhyun asked, Seohyun giggled at the elder's reaction and shook her head with a smile.

"No, I told them to leave. I didn't want to leave yet." Seohyun whispered quietly, Kyuhyun raised a brow at the other.

"And why's that?" Kyuhyun asked in a somewhat playful tone, Seohyun simply smiled.

"...I wanted to spend some more time with you I guess." Seohyun replied, a little hesitant but certain. Kyuhyun didn't seem surprised, it was as if he knew it already. Which he did.

"Good to know." Kyuhyun replied with a gentle smile, a true one.

"Where are the other Oppas?" Seohyun quickly questioned, Kyuhyun shrugged as he ruffled his own hair.

"I told them to leave. I was actually planning to talking to you a little more." Kyuhyun replied, Seohyun smiled with those words.

"Really? Why?" Seohyun asked, pretending she didn't already know. They always pretended.

"Because... I was beginning to think." Kyuhyun muttered, looking into the distance. Seohyun's eyes widened slightly.

"About what?" Seohyun asked, pretending once again. As if she were oblivious.

"...Us." Kyuhyun stated simply. Just a single word, and Seohyun knew what it meant. But still, it wasn't yet acknowledged. Not by Seohyun, but not even by Kyuhyun. This was just a first step.

"...What about us?" Seohyun questioned with much hesitance, Kyuhyun gave her a gentle gaze. Seohyun felt shviers down her spine.

"Shouldn't we... Shouldn't we be a little more honest?" Kyuhyun questioned, Seohyun cocked her head to the side.

"...We should be. But we aren't." Seohyun spoke, a bitter smile on her lips. They both understood it, not many questions needed to be asked.

"And why is that?" Kyuhyun asked, Seohyun shrugged lightly.

"...It's because we're idols." Seohyun answered, Kyuhyun nodded with a slight laugh.

"But we're not young anymore." Kyuhyun added, Seohyun giggled as she raised a brow.

"Is age really an issue?" Seohyun asked with a smile, Kyuhyun smiled back.

"Well, it used to be." Kyuhyun spoke. Seohyun closed her eyes, she knew where this was heading. And to be honest, this was always what Seohyun had hoped for.

"...Used to be?" Seohyun asked, adding to the conversation, she was so close to being where she wanted to be.

"Yes, Hyunnie, it used to be an issue. I really don't think it's one anymore. After all, I've come back from the army and everything." Kyuhyun explained, Seohyun nodded.

"I missed you." Seohyun said, no longer hesitant with her words. Just a little more.

"How could you miss me? You contacted me so much." Kyuhyun retorted in his playful manner, Seohyun giggled once again.

"Yeah, but it just wasn't the same." Seohyun replied blankly, her hand twitching slightly. Kyuhyun stared at her.

"...Hey..." Kyuhyun spoke quietly. Seohyun swallowed, her hand shook and she reached out for his. It felt like eternity as their hands touched. Kyuhyun didn't pull away. Instead, he gave a gentle squeeze. Seohyun smiled, she was so close.

"Yeah?" Seohyun asked. It was still daylight, people were walking around and cars were driving by. People were staring at them, but the maknaes really didn't care or pay attention to it though.

"If I said I loved you, what would you say?" Kyuhyun questioned, Seohyun's eyes widened slightly. She looked down, then looked back at Kyuhyun and smiled. Nearly there.

"...I would say I love you too." Seohyun replied, Kyuhyun smiled quietly. She took a step closer.

"If I wanted you to be my girlfriend, what would you think?" Kyuhyun asked, his second question. Seohyun took another step.

"I would think how lucky I am." Seohyun said, their bodies were only a couple centimeters away.

"If I asked you to be my wife, what would you do?" Kyuhyun asked, Seohyun was the closest she could be now. Their bodies were pressed against each other's, gently. Without a word, Kyuhyun wrapped his arms around Seohyun's waist, embracing the younger lovingly. Seohyun smiled, this is where she wanted to be. Simply in Kyuhyun's arms. They stared at each other, faces drawing closer. Soon, they could feel each other's breaths. A little more.. Finally, their lips met.

It all took 6 damned years of pretending not to know until they reached this stage. So they definitely had to make up for lost time. No child's play and no beating around the bush. No more falseness and no more lies. They've both had enough it it. Just enough. They had done that for years already. From holding hands to singing to dancing. Throughout it all, they pretended to not know. They pretended not to know each other's love. And now, they couldn't stand it anymore. They were desperate for each other.

As they kissed, they could see people recognizing them, beginning to stare and perhaps even taking photos, but they simply didn't care anymore. They both denied themselves from each other for too long now. Within the sweet kiss, Seohyun spoke the most perfect words Kyuhyun could have heard.

"I would do everything to be the most perfect wife for you."

The next day, the Girls' Generation and Super Junior members spit out their morning breakfast as they read the newspaper.

Girls' Generation's Seohyun and Super Junior's Kyuhyun to be married in early July.

They stared around each other, all thinking the same thing. They weren't that surprised, but they were all still pretty shocked.

'Well, that explains why they didn't come home yesterday.'
