I was quietly passing the guestroom as I heard the oxygen mask loudly and the machine that was beeping for every heartbeat that was pounding inside of her chest. I slowly opened the door to find her lying on the bed, eyes closed with a lamp in the corner, lightening up the room just so that you could see..

As I came closer to the bed my eyes couldn't stop looking at her. The wounds, injures, the band aids wrapped around her, the oxygen mask covering and nose and the needles that were under her skin all over..

To injure and wanna hurt someone like this.. so badly.. It's.. frustrating.. not to mention that it's.. completely.. cruel. Cruel to the girls who had no choice but to obey or else they would die..
I folded my fist hardly as I kept watching her, listening to her breathing as the heart beats were beeping..

I walked a little bit closer and soon my thoughts drifted into what she possibly could have gone through. Memory loss.. Physically and mentally beaten..
If it's so difficult already.. I wonder how she will be once she wakes up..

I dragged the chair quietly over and sat down as I kept watching her..
A girl that had no will.. She had no choice but to give in and obey them..
I wonder how many times she had been trying to defend herself.. How she have tried to fight them in order to stay alive..

"What are you thinking?"

I spun around to see Yunho wobbling his way quietly over to me and soon he was standing right next to me, putting his hand on my shoulder

I shrugged

"I'm just wondering how she is feeling.. and what she has gone through.."

"Pretty hard to understand huh?"

"Hard to understand why we humans.. even do such things.. I wonder how many times she has fought for her life.."

"Many.. Many.. Do you think she'll remember who she is?" Yunho asked

"I have no idea.. what if she doesn't?"

Yunho sighed

"I have no idea.. We can't take her to the hospital cause they will become suspicious of us immediately. We can't let her live at a shelter cause she will die there too.."

"I don't know .. it's already cruel that she has been through such things already.."

"I don't know.. I've been thinking if we should keep her here.. at least until she has like recovered.. and then somehow help her to get a job and build her life up"

"You know it's not that easy right? It requires so much time.. and recovering from the pain and all the memories she has.. it will take time.. who knows how long it'll takes.."

"But I don't have a heart to throw her out" yunho said

"And you think I do?" I raised an eyebrow

Yunho chuckled quietly

"No but you know what I mean.."

I sighed heavily as we silently listened to the machines as well as watching her..

"Remember when she was inside the car?" I asked

Yunho nodded

"I've never seen anyone looking so terrified at me.. As if I was someone bad.. It .. really.. surprised me.. shocked me.." I said

"I know what you mean.. Like I would do something bad to her"

Both of us looked at her..

"I wonder when she'll wake up" I said quietly

"Not yet at least.. but she's been sleeping more than 24 hours now" Yunho said

Suddenly something happened.
The heartbeats increased a bit and we immediately stood up and was terrified, looking at the monitor.

"Call Donghae! NOW!!" I shouted

I looked at MinJi who was silently lying on the bed and Yunho disappeared in order to call Donghae. The heartbeats slowed down but then her eyes shot wide open, making me jump out of fear.
Her eyes soon met mine and she instantly got up and the oxygen mask flew away from her as the needles released from body

She panicked as she looked around in the room and soon she started to scream. She fell down on the floor and kept screaming, crying and shaking and crawled her way over to the corner, holding the hospital clothes tightly around her as she kept on crying while watching me

"HYUNG WHAT HAPPENED?!" Junsu shouted as he burst inside the room with the others right behind

I watched her as I was keeping my distance

"STAY RIGHT WHERE YOU ARE AND DON'T COME CLOSER!" I said to the others and they stood still

I kept looking at the girl who was shaking, looking from the right to the left and around in the room. Her lips were shaking so much and so was her hands..

"My god.." Changmin breathed

"Shh.. Shh.. Everything's alright.. You're safe" I whispered as I looked at her

She stared at me as tears kept running

"You have to get back to bed and rest or else you won't get better" I said assuring and softly

I saw her soon looking at her hands, arms and legs. She then raised both of her hands to her head and wound on the forehead. She started to shake even more

"Don't worry.. A doctor were checking you.. Don't take it off.. You have to let the wounds heal" I whispered

She stared at me as she was holding onto the clothes tightly around her

"Donghae's on his way" Yunho breathed as he came back

"STAY RIGHT THERE YUNHO!"

Yunho stopped

The girl looked at me , then at the guys and back to me

"I won't hurt you.. Take my hand and go back to bed. I'll help you. No one is going to hurt you" I whispered

She didn't respond

"I'm JaeJoong. This is Changmin, Yoochun, Junsu and Yunho. We're not the bad guys. We don't want to hurt you. We're here to help you.. We saved you" I whispered

"I think she's giving in" I heard Yoochun whisper behind me

"I grabbed the blanket on the bed and put it on the floor, pushed it towards her, slided it down so that it stopped in front of her

"See..? I won't hurt you. Take that blanket and wrap it around you. You will catch a cold if you don't wrap it around you" I said

She stared at me and looked at the blanket

"There's no poison in that blanket. Just grab it and put it around you. No one will hurt you. We will stay right here and let you take your time" I said

I backed away from her and stopped right in front of the door with the other guys as we were watching her. She didn't move and kept staring us, breathing hard

"Looks how scared she is" Changmin whispered

"It's heartbreaking" Yunho said

"Guys I'm here.." Donghae said

We let him forward and he put down the bag of his and looked at her

"MinJi? I'm Doctor Lee Donghae. I'm going to help you. I won't hurt you" Donghae said

We watched him as he were speaking to her

"We won't hurt you. I'm here to help you. So that your wounds will heal.. and so that your body will heal. I can't help you if you don't let me.." Donghae said

Donghae took one step forward, he kept his gaze locked on her

"I will not do anything until you give me your permission" Donghae said

He stopped right where the bed was and kept his distance from her

"I need you permission so that I can examine you" Donghae said

Donghae took one step forward but then she started to cry harder and tried to somehow crawl closer to the walls

"this is impossible" Junsu sighed

"No it isn't" I said

I walked towards DOnghae, stopped right where he was and looked at her

"MinJi.. I'm JaeJoong. I was the one who carried you outside that cell from the Underground. Do you remember me?"

I saw her shoulders sink a bit and her eyes stared at me

"I'm JaeJoong. They are my friends. He's a doctor. A doctor helps people. We're not the bad people. We won't harm you.. We will take care of you.. But we need you to collaborate with us" I said softly and bended down to the floor

She didn't look away and her eyes were quietly watching me

"I will not do anything unless you say so. You have to trust me" I whispered

I pulled out my hand as I quietly on my toes came closer to her. I was no only an arm length away

"I need you to take my hand so that we'll know if you accept us or not" I whispered softly

I didn't look away, I refused to break the eyecontact we had and I kept on watching her.. I saw her looking at me, then at Donghae, the guys and then back at me. I nodded slowly as smiled softly at her

"It's ok" I whispered

I think 10 minutes passes in silence before we saw her hand raise a bit. She was holding onto the shirt hardly but her shaking hand were rising, coming closer to mine. I didn't move or anything, just stayed where I was in order to win her trust

"It's alright.. we will help you" I whispered

I soon felt her tiny fingers brush mine. She soon grabbed my index finger, as if she was searching for something. I think she was just checking. I relaxed my hand a bit cause probably the people who had abused her must have grabbed her hand roughly which would have scared her..

I soon felt her tiny shaking, fragile hand in my own. I nodded at her.

"Squeeze my hand if you understand what I'm saying.." I whispered

I felt her fingers just brush it but she didn't squeeze it.

"I won't hurt you.. I need you to trust me MinJi.." I whispered

Slowly I felt her tiny little hand taking a weak grip around my hand. I moved somewhat closer to her but was doing it slowly. If there was any sign of her protesting I would stop immediately. She was still shaking but she didn't do anything. I was now half feet away from her. I pulled out my other hand, waited for her other hand to put it there..

She looked at me

"I won't hurt you.." I whispered softly

She looked behind me, probably at the guys and then back at me

"We're not gonna hurt you.." I whispered again

She soon lifted her sprained hand and put it in my other hand. I pulled myself a little closer without dragging her towards me. She watched me silently.

Suddenly something happened behind me. She froze immediately and gasped in fear as she looked behind me

I looked behind me to see it was Yunho who was trying to approach

"YUNHO STAY RIGHT WHERE YOU ARE!" I shouted

Yunho stopped immediately as I saw him swallow

I looked back at MinJi who stared at me

I shook my head

"He won't hurt you either.. You see? If you tell us to stop we will" I assured her..

I soon felt her crawling her way, slowly and easily over to me and soon I was having her in my arms. She was clinging onto me as if she was afraid.

I slowly wrapped my arms around her as she was crying silently onto my shoulder

"It's Ok.. MinJi ah~~. You're safe" I whispered
