A man with plain white-framed eyeglasses entered Teddy’s studio.
“Yo, TOP!” His co-rapper Teddy acknowledged his presence. TOP sat on the sofa impatiently, as though waiting for someone, and said, “Working on some beat?” Teddy could just nod and bob his head as he played the music on his headphones once again.
“Let me hear it,” TOP stood up and snatched the headphones from his Hyung’s ears. He listened to the less than 30 second piece. “Wow! That was dope! Thinking of a new song?”
Teddy nodded again. “Yea, Bom’s.”
TOP’s eyebrows connected with confusion but went back to normal just before Teddy looked at him, pretending not to be overly bothered by what he just heard. “Solo or with someone else?”
“Solo.” Teddy finally answered. TOP blew a sigh of relief and scolded himself for making it audible. “What’s that for?” Teddy asked.
TOP mentally panicked, looking for an excuse. “uh.. I-I just thought she’d be partnered with someone else! What if her partner’s career go down because.. uhm… She’s an alien!” TOP grunted and stomped his feet out of the room before he embarrasses himself more.
“Fooling himself.” Teddy shook his head in mixture of disbelief and amusement and got back on his work.

“Ya, Seungri! Do you know where GD is?” TOP asked the maknae as he entered his room.
“Hyung texted me, saying that if someone looks for him, he’s at his house. Don’t tell him I told you he’s actually at 2ne1’s dorm.” Seungri almost hushed the latter sentence. “I think he has to do something with Bom-noona.”
His forehead creased as Seungri smiled. “Why not go up and go to the dorm too, instead of being a jealous frog here?”
“Aiiiisht, I’m not jealous and mind your own business.” He then left and went to 2ne1’s dorm. He paced back and forth in front of the door as he battled with himself whether he’s going or not. He couldn’t think coherently. After a few knocks, a girl with a perpetual face appeared before him.
“Noona~” TOP said.
“Eh~ TOP, why are you here?” Dara asked the guy in front of her. He tried to appear calm but he actually looked awkward. Well, he always is when he's with her.
“Uhmmm.. I’m just visiting.”
Dara smiled triumphantly. “I’ll call Bom. She’ll surely be happy to see you here!” TOP scanned his eyes around, trying to find Ji Yong. “Maybe he isn’t really here. Aisht, Seungri!” He thought.
“Yah! Bommie! Come out of the room.”
“Dara, stay away from him! An alien is invading our dormitory!” Bom shouted as she came out and pointed her hand formed as a gun to TOP. He laughed, amused of her silly antics.
“Ya! You’re the alien.” TOP retaliated. “I brought corns, by the way!”
Bom snatched the bag of corns from TOP’s hand. “Aww, you really love us!”
“Of course, I love-------“
“Ya, Ji Yong, come out. It’s only TOP.” Bom shouted. TOP saw his co-Bigbang member coming out of the same room where Bom also came from. He felt mad, his mind filled with thoughts he doesn’t want to think of. “Yo TOP.” GD greeted.
TOP just remained silent. He snatched the bag from Bom’s hand, “I forgot. This is actually Charlie’s.” Then he stormed out of the room.
They were stunned and clueless. “Eh… what the hell was that?”

TOP opened his laptop and searched for BIGBANG’s performances. He isn’t really a man of internet. He seldom goes online since he’s not really interested in other people’s lives. He watched their performances on YG Family Concert. He clicked the video wherein BIGBANG performed 2ne1’s Fire. He laughed at his own silliness. He could still remember how he made Bom crack up when he showed her his dance moves, imitating her. “You’re exaggerating!” She even said to him. He could even see the tears forming at the corner of her eyes. He wiped it gently, “I’m glad I made you happy.”
He then clicked the Lollipop Performance video. As he was watching the video, his eyes landed on the comment section. “Kyaaaaa! TOPBOM! ♥” He smiled as he see his name beside Bom. The comment was replied with “Shut up, they’re not dating. He’s dating me!” Then, “Maybe they’re not but they’re an item. Watch TOPBOM videos!”
“Eh? TopBom videos? What is that?”
His fingers started to type his screen name together with Bom. Queues of videos of him and Bom appeared. Or should he say, videos of THEM TOGETHER.

Thank God for the fast internet. His body was all heated up after he watched the video…… “A-am I this obvious?!”
He spent his days in Japan practicing with his group, watching TOPBOM on Youtube, and of course, texting Bom. Well, he texts the 2ne1 girls too and asks them how they are, just so he won’t be obvious. But what he does is whenever CL, Minzy, and Dara reply to his message, he won’t reply. Bom is an exception.
“You seem to be always online, hyung!” Taeyang voiced out his observation. “But whenever I see you, you’re just staring at your desktop.”
TOP would close the window even before a member could see him watching videos. Brilliant. Just before they went back to Japan, TOP got colds.
“Achooo!”
“Yah, stay away from me, hyung!” Daesung roared.
When BIGBANG reached their dormitory, they decided to go to the nearest club and get drunk for the success of their album promotion. “I’ll just stay here and rest.” TOP told them as he was not feeling well. After throwing curses and telling him that he’s a party pooper, they finally left the dorm.
TOP woke up at 9 pm and got the lotion he was going to give Bom. He was trying to decide whether to go to 2ne1’s dorm and personally give it to her or wait for tomorrow instead. He chose the latter option and opened his laptop instead.
He was busy watching TOPBOM videos on Youtube that he was not able to notice the door opened. “Hey, TOP!” he heard a familiar voice. His favorite voice.
Then it sinked in.
He panicked. “Oh my God, Bom!!” he stood up and immediately closed his laptop. He sniffed, his cold troubling him. “You should have at least knocked!!” he shouted.
Bom looked at him, startled. “Uhm, I’m s-so-rry. I think I came at the wrong time. D-don’t worry, I know it’s normal for boys.” She apologized, looking at the lotion and tissue on top of the table. TOP followed where she was looking.
“What exactly are you thinking?”
“Should I really say it?”
“Yah!” He shouted, surprising Bom.
“That you’re !!!!!!” Bom slipped her tongue and covered it as soon as she realized what she said.
TOP face-palmed and shook his head. “Aigooo~ What am I gonna do with you?! Why are you here anyway?”
“Ji Yong told me you guys arrived in Korea already so I came up to congratulate you for the success of your album promotion in Japan.”
“Sit down.” She sat as TOP ordered. “First, I’m not doing what you’re thinking. This,” he pointed at the tissue. “Is for my colds.” He pointed his red nose. “And this….” He pointed at the lotion. He paused for seconds, arguing with himself if he’s going to give it to her. “This is actually for you.”
He was quite thankful he had colds cause if not, he’s sure he must be red of blushing right now.
“Kyaaaa! Thank you! You really love us! How about the other girls?” Bom excitedly examined the lotion and asked.
“Uhm, I...didn’t buy any for them…” TOP bowed down his head of embarrassment, making him oblivious of how tomato colored Bom’s face right now.
“Thank you.”
Before the atmosphere became awkward, TOP opened his mouth to explain what he was watching. He opened his laptop and showed Bom the queue of videos. “I discovered these videos few days ago. But I only watched these now.” The last is pretty much of a lie.
Bom read the title of the video. “TOPBOM,” she blushed. Since she’s likewise not an internet-person like Dara, she isn’t aware of this.
“Aegyo! Let’s watch these!!!” She squeaked, as she clicked one of the videos. As minutes passed of them just watching videos, they started to turn silent. She would laugh, wrinkle her nose, and blush. The videos showed their silly antics, TOP’s melting stares at her, some of their performances, and how different TOP is with her compared to other girls.
She was about to click the mouse when TOP held it at the same time, making their hands overlap. She faced him as she was startled, realizing that their faces were too close. TOP was staring at her—the same stare he gives to no one else but her. Their breathing started to become uneven, definitely uncomfortable with the situation, but they still weren’t moving. It’s as if time stopped, freezing them as they stare at each other.
TOP swallowed the big lump on his throat. Do or die. His face started to move closer to hers. Her eyes started to close as their lips slightly opened in anticipation.
Blag! “I’m the King of the world!!!!”
They heard the door opened and someone shouted. TOP cleared his throat as they moved away from each other. They looked at the direction of the door and saw Daesung and Taeyang carrying the tipsy maknae.
TOP silently hissed.
“Ah, Bom-noona, you’re here!” Taeyang greeted and apologized for Seungri’s state. Bom bid goodbye congratulating them for their success, careful not to look at TOP’s eyes.
As soon as she was outside, “Tomorrow, everything will be normal,” she muttered to herself softly.
The day after, the whole YG family were asked to go to the building for a short meeting. They were informed about the invitation of Strong Heart to YG Family. After the meeting, Bom and Dara proceeded to Teddy’s studio. TOP wanted to follow and explain to Bom, but it would be awkward if he went there alone. As soon as he saw GD going to the direction of the studio, he walked with him.
GD and TOP found the two girls laughing in front of the laptop. “Oh, hey you’re here. Watch this!” Dara motioned GD to come. TOP did the same. He turned pale as he saw them watching a TOPBOM video. Ji Yong eyed TOP carefully and smirked.
Bom laughed after the video was done. “The editing is soooo cool! Daebak! It actually looked like TOP and I were in love with each other when we’re actually not!” Then she laughed again.
“Ha ha ha,” he feigned his laugh. Dara and GD could just look at them. They looked hopeless. GD patted TOP’s back as soon as they went out of the studio. He then shrugged GD’s hand off his shoulder.
The succeeding days were awkward for TOP and Bom. Bigbang, especially the leader, was having a trouble with his dating scandal with a Vivi model. The articles stopped when Ji Yong finally denied his relationship and TOP claimed his closeness with the model.
TOP, curious as he is, was supposed to type Gdragon and the Vivi model but he typed Bom’s name instead. When he clicked enter, series of GBOM videos appeared. His heart skipped beat. He felt pain strike through him. He clicked the videos and watched them, torturing himself.
“I got it.” He said, and closed his laptop.
He went to YG building, knowing that Ji Yong and 2ne1 are there. He checked the rehearsal room, and saw CL, Dara and Minzy. He noticed Dara’s eyes were swollen. He didn’t want to disturb them so he chose to go up to the YG rooftop. He heard two voices.
“Thank you for everything Bom-noona. I don’t know what I will do without you.” TOP recognized GD’s voice.
“I’m always here for you, dongsaeng.” That must be Bom’s.
He finally showed as he couldn’t take the conversation he was hearing. “Oh, hey, you two are here.” TOP said nonchalantly.
“Uh. Yo, TOP.” He greeted. “I gotta go noona.” Then he disappeared.
AWKWAAAAAAAAAAAAARD.
‘That was some conversation, huh.” TOP uttered, anger or more like jealousy coloring his voice.
“It is.”
“Maybe the videos I’ve watched are true.” TOP said, facing Bom.
Bom blushed as she heard the word videos. “What videos to be exact?” She asked, thinking of the TopBom videos.
“The videos with you and a guy.”
But she still thought of TopBom videos, since she doesn’t really watch videos on Youtube.
“You laughing with him; Him teasing you; your performances together.”
Bom felt heat crawling to her cheeks. “W-why are you bringing this up?”
“Nothing. You must be in love with him, eh?”
Bom stared at his eyes. Wrong move. She saw determination in his eyes. He’s determined to hear an honest answer from her. He’s determined to know whether she likes him or not. She paused for a minute, trying to figure out the words she’s supposed to say--- the words that will make this moment perfect.
“Ye--” she was about to answer when TOP cut her off.
“And you must love his dog Gaho, huh?” TOP’s eyes were turning red.
“W-w-wait, what?! What are you saying?!”
“Oh come on, we’re FRIENDS,” emphasizing on the F word, “right? You can tell me.” TOP said, almost shouting. He’s trying his best not to appear angry at himself.
Bom was turned quiet as she looked at him, calculating the emotions he could see on his face. “Are you serious with your question?”
“Yes. I saw your videos on Youtube. You’re flirting with him, so you must like him so much, huh. I never thought your types are skinny flower boys!” TOP accused.
Bom’s hands turned to fist. “Flirting? What? I was flirting with Kwon Ji Yong, you say?! Huh! You were the one who was flirting!”
“Me? Flirting? With who?! Huh?! Huh?!”
They’re now shouting at each other.
“With that- with that Vivi model!”
“She just helped us in our Album promotion and you call that flirting?! It’s you who’s fcking flirting with my friend!”
“Aren’t you even aware of DaraGon?!” Bom asked TOP, but he looked so clueless about the word. “Dara and Gdragon are currently dating. You pabo! How come you didn’t know?!! You’re his friend. I’m their protector! I’m helping Ji Yong make up with Dara because of the dating scandal.” Bom explained.
“How come I didn’t know, you ask?! How am I supposed to know if all I care about is you?!” TOP exhaled, his heart beating fast. His breathing was now uneven; as if he’d been holding his breath for years.
Bom’s eyes widen and met his. Her stare intersected with his melting one. It’s as though his eyes are pulling her to him. Trails of tears are now visible on her cheeks. TOP panicked. His thumb quickly found its way to her face, wiping her tears. “Ya! If you don’t love me, you don’t really have to cry. I-it’s okay. I can wait.”
Bom tiptoed and closed her eyes. The next thing he knew, her soft lips were against his. He closed his eyes and wrapped his arms around her body, pulling her closer. It was the sweetest kiss they ever had.
“Pabo.” Bom smiled and wiped her own tears. “I love Charlie’s master.”
TOP’s face turned into shades of red and pulled Bom to a tight hug, careful not to break her bones. “I love you, alien.”
“Ya! I’m not an alien. You are!” Bom debated. “But I love you, too.”
Just when everything went silent, they heard someone cleared his throat. “Are you done now?” It was Seungri.
TOP removed his shoe and threw it straight to Seungri’s face. “ off! Why do you always have to ruin our moment!”

2ne1 finally arrived from Japan. Bom went straight to BIGBANG’s dormitory and found his boyfriend busy with his laptop. She surprised TOP with a peck.
“Hey you’re back, Baby. You should have texted me.”
Bom pouted. “But you seem to be really busy with your laptop. Watching , eh?”
TOP smirked. “Better than , baby.” He winked.
