0017. His Voice Through The Phone

I can’t sleep.

I still can’t sleep even though I already try a thousand methods to drive me sleep. But my eyes end up open again and keep me awake till pass midnight. This sleeping problem happen for the past two days. I hardly fall asleep and my heart beat so erroneously. This is really not like I used to be. Thanks to Chan-ppabo-Yeol I become like a zombie every morning for the last two days.

Wait a minute.

Did I just say Chanyeol? The one behind all of this sleeping problem and palptation? Why would he...

Para..para..paradise..

I pick up the call as soon as I could, remembering the promise Chanyeol made with me. My heart beats even faster when i heard a familiar deep voice of Chanyeol’s. This is absolutely beyond my common sense. Why would I become such as girl who was talking to someone she has crush with.

“Hyung?Are you still there?” his question brings me back to reality.

“Uhm.. y-yeah. I’m still here.”

There’s silent for a moment.

“Hyung…” Chanyeol deep voice sounds a little bit husky, making me Goosebumps. I swallowed hard since my throat becomes dry suddenly.

“Hyung…” He cuts his words again. I hummed in response. “… are you… mad at .. me?”

DEG.                 

“Do I have done wrong? Or was my work not good enough for you? Do I make you suffer or giving you difficultness? I will try my best to become better assistant for you, but please don’t be mad at me like this. Don’t ignore me like this. Do I interfere your private live too much? I could, since now, try to give you more spa-“This time I’m the one who cut his words.

“No, Chanyeol. You’ve done nothing wrong. And your work was pretty good.” I was about to talk even more when, again, he cuts, this time, my words. “Then why are you ignoring me for the last two days, hyung?”

 “Yeol-“

“There’s something happen right? What’s that, hyung? You can always tell me everything. As I ever tell you, I’ll be-“

Enough.

“For God’s sake, Yeol. Stop cutting my words.” I blow top. “I call you back in the morning.” And then I hang up the phone without even waiting for response from Chanyeol.

Good. Now everything turns into mess. The hell what have you done to me?! That stupid brat.
