“HANEUL-AH!”

You startled when Eunhee patted your shoulder as she called your name. It was her fifth times called you but you were busy with your own thoughts.

“What were you thinking?” Eunhee anxiously asked.

You slowly shook your head, “Nothing..”

“Are you sick?” She asked again.

You sighed and rested your chin on your palm. There were so many things that you were thinking. Sometimes, it made your head hurts. “No unnie, I’m not sick.” You finally replied.

“Then why were you daydreaming?” She took a chair and sat in front of you. You and her were on your break time.

You sighed again and now rested your head on the table. “I was thinking about my life.” You whispered, “Sometimes I was tired of my own life, Unnie. Because… I through hard times. And now, looks like I will lose my happiness.”

Eunhee frowned and followed you to rest her head on the table, “Why were you thinking like that?”

“… She trying to steal my happiness.” You softly replied, “And I’m afraid of it.”

Eunhee was getting confused. She raised her head and put on a face didn’t understand. “Who do you mean?”

You lifted your head also and at that moment, a bunch of girls entered the café. Coincidence indeed, it was Yoonjoo and her friends.

You nodded your head at her and said, “…Her,” Eunhee followed your eyes and saw they were noisy to pick a seat.

Eunhee rolled her eyes. She knew them, because they often came here but lately, for some reason they didn’t come. “Them again,” You heard someone sneered.

You and Eunhee turned to him. Gongchan sat next to Eunhee and looked at them with a look of hate, “Why do they come back? When is good they don’t comeback here.” Gongchan snickered.

“You guys know them?” You finally asked. “They often come here because of Jonghwan and his friends. They even teased Minwoo. Shameless girls.” Eunhee replied in disgust.

You frowned, “Unnie… What exactly is your relationship with Manager Seo?” Eunhee was paused but then chuckled, “You didn’t know? We dated, already 2 years.”

You feel very surprised. So therefore they’re very close. “Really? I didn’t know that.” You smiled at her.

“I thought that guy already told you.” Eunhee nodded her head to Gongchan. “Poor Minwoo hyung.” Gongchan suddenly said.

Eunhee quickly shot him a look, “What do you mean, Chansik?!”

Gongchan innocently shook his head, “Nothing, noona.”

Eunhee sneered at him and rolled her eyes. “You know them, Haneul? What do you mean by her trying to steal your happiness?” Eunhee focused on your story again. “She’s my cousin.” You turned to Yoonjoo who was talking happily with her friends.

“And…?” Yoonjoo asked again. “Noona, It’s privacy.” Gongchan gave Eunhee a serious look. Eunhee again and again shot him a look. Indeed, they both have long worked here. So they’re very close to each other. You smiled softly as you saw they were quarreled.

“HI MINWOO OPPA!” Minha suddenly squealed. You, Eunhee, and Jonghwan turned to them again. Minha giggled and waved at Minwo. But Minwoo just turned away and went into his office.

Eunhee gritted her teeth in jealousy, “That girl really! I have to teach her a lesson to not flirting with someone boyfriend!” Eunhee hit the table and was about to stood up but you and Gongchan immediately pulled her down.

“Noona, be patient!” Gongchan said with a sigh. Eunhee took a deep breath and glared at them. You couldn’t help but smile when you know that a girl like Eunhee can be jealous of someone too. You found it cute, when a girl was jealous of an another girl who flirting with her boyfriend. Or maybe she was angry, not jealous.

“Aw, ! What the hell are they doing here?!” A voice cursed. It was Hyukjin and others who just stepped into the café and found that Heebee and her friends were here.

They hated them. Because they were so noisy and don’t know manners. They always made a fuss with their flirtatious shouts.

“Oh, HI!” Eunmi beamed as she noticed that Jonghwan and others had came into the café. She found Chanyong and waved at him as she winked.

Chanyong and Sanghoon rolled their eyes and pretended that they didn’t exist. Then went to their usual seats and ignored the girls.

Eunmi propped up her chin as she stared at Chanyong, “Ah, He’s so cool!”

Jimin rolled her eyes and snorted, “Your type always like that. You liked Niel in Teen Top and liked Chanyong in Baekpeo,”

*Baekpeo?* You blinked as you heard them and then turned to Gongchan, “What is Baekpeo?”

Gongchan blinked and then laughed, “Yah, you’re in the same class with Jonghwan and didn’t know Baekpeo?”

You shook your head and stared at Gongchan, “I’m new there, Chansik.”

“Baekpeo is Baekpeocent or in English, It’s 100%! I heard from my friend that It’s the name for them!” Gongchan explained with passion.

You nodded in understand with your mouth made an ‘O’. You turned to them again as you watched them.

“Eunhee noona!” Rockhyun called. Eunhee startled and looked up at him, “What?!” Eunhee responded with fierce.

“Noona, why are you like that… I just called you.” Rockhyun pouted. “You surprised me, stupid!” Eunhee replied from your seat. You and Gongchan laughed together.

“Yah noona! Call Minwoo hyung, tell him we’re here.” Sanghoon shouted from his seat.

Initially, Eunhee refused to call Minwoo. But with lazy, she rosed from her seat and went to Minwoo’s office.

“Jonghwan!” Jonghwan turned when Heebee came over to him. Jonghwan sighed, He didn’t know how to make her stay away from him. “…Hi,” Jonghwan greeted her with flagging.

Heebee took a chair and sat next to him, “Why you’re flagging? Are you sick?”

“He’s sick because of your face.” Changbum blurted. “How about you stay away from him?”

Heebee glanced at Changbum with her sharp eyes. Changbum rolled his eyes, *.* “Is that true, Jonghwan? Do you hate me?” Heebee asked as she gave him puppy eyes.

Jonghwan once again sighed, “No, I don’t. Changbum was just kidding.” Jonghwan forced a smile.

You can only stared at them from far away and somehow, as there was a wall to separate you. Ever since they stepped into this café, he did not say hello to you. It makes you sad and wondering why all of a sudden he’s like ignoring you.

“Yah, back to your seat! You’re so annoying!” Hyukjin suddenly snapped. Heebee grimaced harshly as she looked at Hyukjin. When she confronted with Jonghwan again, she put on a cute face, totally two-faced girl. “Jonghwan, I’ll be back.” She gave him a wink and back to her seat.

“Hah,” Rockhyun laughed in disbelief when he saw that. “I think I’m gonna puke,”

“Seriously Jonghwan! You have to tell her to not be like that to you anymore. We knew you hated it.” Changbum said as he folded his arms across his chest. “For the first time, I agree with Changbum.” Chanyong spoke.

Jonghwan just silent and didn’t reply the words of his friends. He then glanced at you and you both stared at each other.

“Haneul, your turn!” Someone called you. You broke the staring contest as you stood up from your chair. “Yes!”

Your rest period has been finished. You returned to work and took the orders to Jonghwan and his friends. “Hi, Manager!” Hyukjin beamed and showed his eyesmiles.

You gave him a tiny smile and nodded, “This is your orders.” You put their drinks one by one on the table and then walked away without look at Jonghwan.

“What’s wrong with Manager? She looked so sad.” Sanghoon said as he blinked. Jonghwan was silent and stared at his glass. He knew, maybe you were angry because he had to leave you alone. Or because Heebee was always trying to close to him.

“What? That girl worked here?” Jimin muttered when she turned to your direction. “She became more and more often to meet with Jonghwan! She must have accidentally, Heebee!” Minha added angrily as she also looked at you.

It increasingly makes Heebee fell silent and dejected. She became more hates you and confirmed the words of her friends. She was afraid if you and Jonghwan become more closer that before.

“Hi, guys!” Minwoo came over to his friends while Eunhee came out and back to the kitchen with an angry face. Minwoo sat next to Changbum with a smile on his face, “Why did you so long, hyung?” Rockhyun asked.

“I was busy.” Minwoo answered as he glanced at his silver watch. “Oh… I thought you..” “WHAT?!” Minwoo immediately shot Changyong a look while he just grinned.

Jonghwan chuckled to see behavior of his friends.

“What? Take this to them?” You asked in disbelief. Take this orders to them? No way! You didn’t even want to see their faces at all. “Why? You don’t want to?” Soojin, one of the waitress asked as she blinked.

You quickly shook your head, “No no… It’s okay.” You immediately took their orders and walked over to their table.

Jimin nudged Heebee’s elbow and nodded her head towards you. All of them turned to you together. Heebee smirked, she did not think that you’re the one who will came to put their orders.

“Whoa, Look who’s the waitress.” Eunmi played with her hair and smirked at you. You tried to ignore her and put their orders on the table. “Wait,” Heebee’s cold voice said.

You stopped and turned to her. She looked at you sharply, “We didn’t order this.” Heebee said.

You frowned, “Ah, sorry. It was not me who write your orders, but I will take on a new one.” You took their orders one by one but suddenly, Yoonjoo grabbed your wrist, makes you stopped again, “What now?” You asked.

“Do you think this can be done like this?! You have to take responsibilities!” Jimin snapped. Everyone in the café turned to you and them. Suddenly, you got the attention. Including, 100% who looking at you.

“I’m sorry, Miss. But it was not me.” You stared at her, “So why did you snap at me?” You bravely replied. Jimin gawked and couldn’t believe that you against her words. “Ho-How dare you!” Minha stuttered.

You sighed and stared at them with your big eyes but sharp. You really were not in the mood today. You felt very tired and just wanted to get home. “Then, What should I do?”

“Go,” Heebee suddenly coldly said. Her friends gaped in disbelief. They were thought Heebee will work on you. “But Heebee—“ “Go!” Heebee snarled.

You rolled your eyes and shook your head. You spun around and were about to go, “Wait,” But then, she called you again. You sighed and spun around again.

SPLASH. You gasped in surprise as cold water spilled on your body. Her friends laughed in satisfaction, didn’t care with views of others.

You were really shocked. That water was very cold and you felt very embarrassed. In front of Jonghwan, she did it in  front of Jonghwan. You felt very stupid and wanted to cry so bad. How you wanted to scream and replied their deed to you.

“It was for you, who dared to against me.” Heebee said and smirked at you. You were just silent and stared at them. You clenched you fist and really wanted to reply their deed. But, your heart told you to not do that.

Suddenly, you felt something soft wrapped around your shoulder. You looked up to see Jonghwan, was smoothing your hair and wiped your face with tissue. He noticed your stares and smiled softly as he rubbed your cheek.

“Jonghwan!” Heebee angrily shouted. “What.are.you.doing?!” She couldn’t believe it, In front her, Jonghwan did something that she also wants it.

Jonghwan turned to her. Now his face looked so mad, “Heebee, I should have asked. What are you doing? Have you no shame? And why are you doing this to her? Is it because of me?” Jonghwan asked.

Heebee was silent and turned away as she folded her arms. “I did see you first! Why did you choose her? Why are you protecting her? You’re so different if you’re with her. You know my feelings, Jonghwan! I liked you!”

“Heebee, I do like you. but as a friend. But Haneul…” Jonghwan turned to you and then smiled, “She’s special for me. She’s a special person in my life. From now on, do not disturb her or her friend anymore.”

You widened your eyes when you heard Jonghwan said like that. Now your face was blushed and didn’t dare to meet his eyes. You were so embarrassed to lift your face.

Heebee bit her lips. For the first time, she felt embarrassed. Quickly, she picked up her bag and went out of the café. “HEEBEE!” Her friends also did the same thing while Yoonjoo put some money on the table and coolly walked out of the café.

Jonghwan looked down at you, “Haneul… Are you okay?”

You were froze and stiffened. How could him? Make you confusing like this? Make your heart beats uncertain? “I-I will change my clothes!” You gave him his jacket and quickly walked away.

“Ow!” You hit a table and shyly walked into the locker room. Jonghwan couldn’t help but laugh because of your cute behavior. He liked your cuteness like that.

You were in the bathroom as you leaned on the door with your blushing face, *What is this called? No… Am I really… fall in love with Jonghwan?*
