Description
It had took much pleading from my father to send me to Seoul University where I not only desperately wanted to study,
but where I wanted to run into my idols. I went to the University with countless K-POP idol sensations and my friend
Meghan Farr, who moved here with me.
But god, if I had known what was going to happen in just a matter of a month while staying here, I would have left myself in America.
Annyeong~! I'm Rin and this is my first official fanfic that I trust to post. I hope you look past any minor mistakes, I overlook some things. I take a lot of time into thinking fics through so I hope you all will treat them well! ^^
Characters~
Rin Soryu: A girl who breathed anything korean. Her life dream was to study in Seoul and meet all her K-POP idols and love them. When it actually happens, she's no more than displeased that the one she wanted to love the most once upon a time ended up being hard-headed, stupid, difficult, and just a pain in the .
Meghan Farr: Rin's best friend ever since the beginning of High School. She moved to Seoul to study with Rin and met Kai after Rin and Baekhyun's encounter. Meghan is loyal and truthful and will always be there for Rin; she serves as almost a sister to her.
Byun Baekhyun: Member and power voice of EXO-K. He's sweet and down to earth and loves his fans. Despite being this way he hides how he truly feels when it comes to the people he loves or cares about. This being Rin, him and her do not match well.
Park Chanyeol: Happy Virus Channie Oppa! One of the main rappers in EXO-K. He's bubbly and always smiling. He connects with Rin perfectly and him and her maintain a very close relationship.
Kim Jongin: He is Kai in EXO-K. Dancing Machine~ He and Rin's best friend Meghan Farr hit it off perfectly, but of course there will always be bumps in the road- when aren't there? He loves gentle girls and treats Meghan like a princess.
EXO-K & EXO-M: Two groups formed together under SM Entertainment. The members all serve as side characters and friends in the story to lighten up the mood.
Foreword
"All these girls wouldn't even like you if they knew the things you did and said behind their backs." I strained to make him see that he wasn't as great as everyone complimented him to be. Baekhyun ran his hands through his hair before dropping them dramatically and sighed. "Just get out Rin. Not out of my room, but out of my life." He looked at me now as if I were just another fan who'd been kicking him around just to get an autograph. I laughed in disbelief at how ridiculous he was and took a couple steps toward him.
"Do you think I wanted this? You're the most ignorant boy I've ever met in my life. If I had known that I'd be dealing with this, i would have rather died." With this I turned and left the room, slamming his door.
I wanted to cry. Why did I have to "date" him anyway. This wasn't real. I was being used for beneficiary reasons towards SM. I slid down to the ground and buried my head in my legs.
Just as I was about to retrieve to my room which was unfortunately only 2 rooms down from Baekhyuns, i heard his door open. I didn't want him to see me like this; he hadn't won. I raised my head wiping my spilled tears carelessly and stood. Baekhyun looked down shamefully.
As I turned to leave he grabbed my arm and pulled me against him. He put his arm around me, petting my hair and resting his chin on my shoulder.
"Don't leave. I'm sorry Rin." Those words always worked like magic on me, despite how stubborn I was. Then Baekhyun put distance between us, enough distance to have his lips trail across my cheek. I looked away, wanting to desperately go to my room and not deal with what was to come.
Of course Baekhyun pulled my face towards his and whispered "Baby stop fighting me" before kissing me softly. This is all it took, and he pulled me back into his room, closing the door behind him carefully. And the rest of the night was him making up his mistakes to me.
This was our relationship. Welcome to it.
