Some Things Shouldn't be Forgiven

Description

She made a stupid promise, she made a foolish promise, she made an impossible promise but she will do her best to fulfill it because maybe, just maybe she will be able to be forgiven for her sins.

She was never shown how to care, never taught how to be compassionate and she never once in her life had anyone look at her like she was nothing more than her name The Siberian Husky, a dog. That is until that day when one man handed her a precious item and told her to be careful.

For a second she loved him before she shot him dead, now her only goal in life is to prove him right. Maybe there is some good inside her but after three years of shedding the blood of her equals she feels nothing more or less like a person, until one day when someone looks to her for safety.

Foreword

In a small, cold, concrete room with nothing more than a simple bed pushed up against a wall a female is sitting. She sits in the middle of the room with her eyes on the tiny window high above her bed observing the drops of rain hitting the glass and the bright lights from lightning which cuts through the darkness from a winter evening.

A small smile creeps onto her dry lips and her blue eyes are sparkling with expectations. This is gonna be the first night for the rest of her life. Her hands slowly turns the bullet in between her fingers keeping her nerves calm. Not that she needs it but since she was first taught the trick it has become the only time she feels really relaxed.

Her eyes shoot to the side as the sound of steps closes in from the other side of the door. Her fingers moves the bullet in her pocket and she gets on her feet looking back at the window.

The sound of keys being put in a lock and turned are followed by the opening of her door

“Husky” a deep male voice mumbles in the quiet room bouncing of the bare walls.

She turns her head slowly and then her body, little by little till she is facing him

“You still don’t know what happened to it? They are still pissed at you for not fulfilling the job” He smirks a little and the bitterness she knows he feels every time she has gotten a high profile job is replaced with a mocking glimpse in his eyes.

She lifts her shoulders and huffs through her nose before forcing a smile “There was no book”

The guy walks back outside the room “Just get out of there”

She chuckles and walks past him feeling his eyes bore themselves in the side of her face

“The book was there Husky, you failed. No more of the good jobs for you and you know it” he grins cruelly

She stretches her fingers  removing the stiffness in them from having been locked up in that hole for 2 weeks “I don’t want the jobs” she looks at him “You can have them but… might be hard to do them”

He frowns and crosses his arms “How so?”

Her lips curl up into a big smirk and her eyes intensifies making the icy blue color stands out in contrast to her red messy hair “It’s hard to kill people when you are dead yourself”

She moves, twist and turns and before he even has the chance to think her answer to end she is standing over him with her arms crossed looking at the wrong angle his neck has taken.

“And you wonder why I got the jobs” She huffs and kicks the limp body “You can’t even keep yourself alive” she bends over and moves his jacket removing a gun from his side “Thank you” she grins and then steps back. She turns on her heel and starts walking the grin changes into a chuckle which bounces against the walls as she determined heads for what might be the first or the last day of her life.
