"Will partner 1 come forward to collect their pepero stick?" Hoya instructed.

Even then, Myungsoo was the only one in front. Despite countless of callings, Sunggyu seemed to be dumbfounded.

"Hyung..? Hyung! You need to go collect the pockey stick!" Woohyun tried telling Sunggyu while waving his right palm in front of the latter's face.

Sunggyu shook his head lightly as he realised almost everyone is looking at him, waiting for him to move.

"Ah, sorry, heh.." Sunggyu voiced out awkwardly, before the whole room burst out laughing at his silly actions.

"Okay round one, partner 1 will hold while partner 2 will bite yeah?" Hoya informed us of the rules.

"You ready?" Woohyun asked his partner.

Sunggyu just closed his eyes and nodded.

"Ready... Go!"

Sunggyu, still keeping his eyes shut, felt the move of the pepero stick. He hopes his best friend would not try to be cautious of biting it as they've already promised to give it their all. A moment later, Sunggyu decide to take a peek at how's the competition going. He slowly opened his eyes to a view of the adorable Nam Woo Hyun, with his eyes closed too, biting his way slowly, making sure he's not going over the limit. As Sunggyu had fallen for his best friend's passionate moves, he didn't realise how small the pepero stick had became. Not until when Woohyun's lower lips accidentally brushed against his, that he realised they were in sight of quite a number of people, group members to be exact. 

Sunggyu unconsciously pushed Woohyun by the shoulders before whispering "Stop.."

Woohyun froze on his spot, still shocked over the sudden rejection..

Of course, he didn't actually meant it that way, although Woohyun was already frowning, about what had just happened. The atmosphere's so
tensed up, but no matter what, they still have to finish their second round.

"Now alternately yah? Round 2, ready.... Go!"

Sunggyu could still see the sadness in his best friend's eyes. It's so watery, he is almost crying. Sunggyu felt so bad that he closed his
own eyes in order to avoid Woohyun's brokenhearted gaze.

The stick getting closer.

"I'm sorry Woohyun, for what happened..."

Faces centimeters apart.

"I shouldn't have pushed you away..."

Slowly, shortening, bites after bites.

"I'm sorry..."

A tear fell as Woohyun felt his partner's lips against him, trying to bite the pepero stick 'til the end, not even attempting to pull away
in disgust.

*ding!*

It didn't take quite long to determind the final results. In the end, Myungsoo and Sungyeol won as their Round 1 stick was shorter then
Woohyun's and Sunggyu's.

"Hey, I'm really sorry for pushing you away. We could've won..." Sunggyu said, feeling regretful.

"It's hyung, at least I finally won your heart, right? " Woohyun replied before chuckling as he wipe his tiny bit of tears away.

Since his hyung was looking too confused, Woohyun decided to lean in for a proper kiss, just to make sure if the latter would probably go
weak at his knees. Well, indeed he was right...

Sunggyu slightly opened his mouth to receive it. He finally confirmed that it wasn't just affection. In fact, he's fallen for his best
friend too. Needing air to breathe, both of them pulled away before grinning like idiots.

"Glad you didn't chicken out Gyu!" Hoya, who suddenly appeared from no where, gave a pat on both shoulders'.

Sunggyu nodded in acceptance before leaving the cafè with his now, lover.

He felt so fortunate to have his best friend as a lover, someone who understands him, who cares for him, who he had been with for a
lifetime. Someone like Nam Woo Hyun...
