Day 338

Jiyong has been standing in front of Jonghun’s door for the last 40 minutes, still considering if he should knock or not. What happened today was not very nice, he realized. It was horrible that said those thing to his father in front of Seunghyun and Jinri’s family, but what was worse was that he just ruined Jonghun’s birthday. He could never forgive himself for that, and he needed to know that Jonghun knows that he’s sorry.

               “Jonghun?” so Jiyong decided to knock. He peeked to the dim lighted room, smiling when he saw Jonghun was not yet asleep. The boy was watching the television, but he gave Jiyong a glance. Jiyong took that as a permission to come in and sat beside the boy. “Jonghun, I.. I’m sorry for what happened earlier at the park.                “I’m kinda watching right now, you know,” Jiyong’s word was cutted by Jonghun’s cold tone. He didn’t even looked at Jiyong when he spoke, his eyes was looking straight to the television screen.

               Jiyong shut his mouth, not sure if he should push it, or give up. In the end, he gave up. He sighed and reached out to Jonghun’s arm, thankful the kid didn’t pulled away his arm. “Okay, I’m just.. I’m sorry, okay?”

               Jonghun didn’t answer. Jiyong could see the kid’s lips quiver, and he didn’t want to push it. Jonghun still has his pride, and if he didn’t want to cry in front of Jiyong, he won’t hummiliate him. Jiyong told him good night, kissed Jonghun’s forehead (though the boy didn’t move an inch) and went out, slowly closing the door, not realizing the tears coming out of the kid’s eye when he left.

               Seunghyun watched as his boyfriend came in to their shared room, looking as distress as he was. Jiyong walked straight to the drawer to get his pajamas, and Seunghyun decided he had to start talking.
