One, two, three,

One, two, three...

 

Stepping in time, on the beat, every beat.  That is waltz.  It's a dance of precision, skill, and most of all, rhythm.  Counting.  Beat.  One, two, three.  One, two, three.  It is something that Jongin excells at and as he and his partner glide across the floor, feet landing together, heartbeats in synch, he understands what it means to be one.  One organism counting together, in perfect time.  It's beautiful.

 

After practice Jongin is still counting, he never stops really.  You see, he has this little thing called Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.  It's a psychological disease that causes compulsions that the victim feels they have to complete.  It never touches the same two people exactly the same.  In Jongin's case, he is constantly counting in threes.  It's difficult to be a ballroom dancer when you cannot count in fours or twos, but no one would say this debilitates his skill.  Kai is a master of the waltz.

 

But the one thing he wasn't counting on, was Chanyeol.
