“Well...” Yoseob began.
“I am your mentor!” exclaimed the minisule chimp, arms dramatically wide as if revealing an hundred year old secret. The thought of Yoseob as his mentor sent the wires in Key’s kitten brain haywire with a multitudes of questions, all of which he could not help verbalising. As they say use them or lose them- Key wasn’t going to be mute anytime soon, his vocal cords poised- ready to interrupt when necessary.
“Does Doojoon allow this?” The feline asked crossing his arms and angling his head so he could send an incredulous look coupled with a raised eyebrow to his longtime friend. Doojoon would not forgive him easily; his pride wouldn’t allow him to.
“Well…” the monkey pursued his lips, contemplating between lying or being eternally damned by his friend should the truth be revealed. Before he could, he was skilfully interrupted.
“And why do I need one- I’m qualified at the same level as you!” moaned Key, stamping his new found feet. He was a very capable cat, why should he be treated as an incapable human- he was already superior to nine of these creatures. The HTBH course still gave him nightmares to this day.
“I am the green man’s & red man’s protégée, these humans will be answering to me in not time,” he asserted glorifying his new found idols.
“Well…” began the capuchin for the second time, eyeing the every changing expressions on the kitten’s face, wondering how to begin addressing his friend’s concerns. Yoseob took a deep breath-
“You’ve never been human anyway! you wouldn’t know how degrading this feels!”
