What is heartbreak?

Heartbreak is lying on my bed alone,

Trying my damn hardest to breathe

While at the same time wondering why it all went wrong

And how I'm going to get up

And pretend like everything is all right,

And how the hell I'm going to sew my torn heart back again.

And yet, despite my efforts to have it sutured,
