'Ahjumma, how much for an apple?' the petite tall girl asked while checking the apples on the rack.

'2 for ₩6,000 lady.' the ahjumma approached her smiling.

The tall girl chuckled lightly.

'Only 2? Why so expensive?.' she watched as the ahjumma changed it's expression into a sour one. 'I was just kidding ahjumma. I'll buy 2. Here.'  she said quickly as she handed ₩10,000 at the ahjumma. 'Delicious.' she thought as she her lower lip.

'Here's your apple.' the ahjumma handed her the apples and the change.  She took it with her two hands and mouthed a 'Thank you' before leaving the store happily. 'Such a good day.'

It's one of those days when she just suddenly have the urge to stroll around the shops near the apartment she's been occupying ever since she decided to study in an exclusive school for girls. For her, strolling into some shops make her body feel the liveliness and freshness also it's one way of releasing the homesickness she feels everytime she misses her family.

While walking she plugged the earphone and listened to some upbeat music which she loves the most. 

She was singing along to it when her phone rang. She quickly checked who the caller was and slightly smiled upon seeing the caller's name.

'Hello?' she said as she pressed the answer button.

'Yah! Choi Sooyoung!! Why are you taking so long?! The loud voice of her roommate-classmate-bestfriend Tiffany can be heard from the other line.

'My god Hwang Tiffany! Seriously?! Even on the phone? Your voice should really just have to be that loud?!' she gave off a laugh.

'Shut the hell up! You're already out for good 60 minutes!! Ho-'

'You mean 1 hour right?' she said not allowing Tiffany to finish her sentence.

'Yeah right whatever! As I was saying, you've been out for 1 hour!' she emphasized the words even more loudly. 'How am I supposed to do this huh?! You promised to come back here at 9:4-'

'Okay okay! I'm on my way now okay?'

'You never really want me to finish my sentence first, don't you?'

She giggled at her best friend. 'Yeah I don't. As I said I'm going back now so see yo-'

'Hey! Watch out!!'

Sooyoung stopped on her tracks when she heard some people screaming. She looked at the direction they're pointing out only to see a fast motorbike approaching her way.

She suddenly couldn't  move. It felt like her feet had been rooted on the ground.

'!' All she got to do was to let out a silent curse before the motorbike hit her.

The next thing she knew, the apples and her phone flew somewhere while she landed flat on the ground whining in pain.
