When I knew he was my classmates this year, I couldn’t hold my happiness.

I started to smile when I remembered those time.

“Nara~ What are you smiling about?” Hyuna ask while poking my cheeks

“It’s nothing~ Let’s practise!” I said

We started to practise until it was 4:00pm

“Let’s go home, I’m so tired…” Jiyhyun said. They went to the locker room to get changed and pack their stuff.

“Nara! What about you?” Gayoon ask. Noticing I wasn’t following them

“You guys go home first! I need to master this move before next week!” I said and practise the same move over and over again

“Yeah, let her be…she is the black hole in this team” Sohyun said jokingly

“Really?” I ask worriedly

“I’m just joking! Don’t take it seriously! You are perfect just the way you are” She said and walked off

They left me in the gym alone.

I’ve been practising for a half an hour now, suddenly I heard the door open. I turned around and saw Hyunseung!

“Oh? Nara, you are practising?” He ask and came closer

“Eh? A- *Fall*” I was shocked when he called me and accidently fall on the ground

He ran to me and tried to help me up

“Nara! Gwenchanna?” He said while pulling me up

“I-I’m okay..” I said

‘That was soo uncool!’ 

“Anyway, why aren’t you gone home yet? It’s already late..” I said and looked at my watch. It’s 5:30pm

“I’m just the same as you…Practising at the field, I wanted to get a new basketball so..” He said and smiled

“Ah..That’s good then..” I said awkwardly. He went to the room where we put our all our sports stuff

“Why are you practising alone? Where’s the others?” He ask while looking around

“They have gone home… I need to practise more, I don’t want be a burden to them” I said

“You’re not a burden. I think you are the most hard worker in the team” He said and grab a basketball.

He played a little on the court. When I was watching him, the feelings I had before came rushing back to me.

“Hah~ I really do like playing basketball *Sit on the floor*” He said while catching his breath. I went nearer to him and sit beside him. I rest my chin on my knees

“I notice that you like playing basketball since I first met you..” I said

“Ah! That’s right..we met here, right?” He ask while tilting his head. I nodded

“I thought you were younger than me, but it turns out that we are the same age..” He said

“What? You thought that I was younger? Well, I do have a baby face” I said while poking my cheeks.

“*Chuckled* You really are cute..” He said and looked at me

“Hyunseung.. Don’t you care what others think about you?” I ask

“Eh? Why are you asking me this?” He ask

“I just heard some bad rumours about you… That the others were complaining that you didn’t take basketball seriously..and they thought that is the reason why our school lost last year.. “ I explained

'Why am I saying this? I’m so stupid, I must have hurt his feelings’

“I just play basketball for fun!” He said cheerfully

“Well, It's hard to not care about what other people think. I remind myself that I should only worry about my friends… but actually, I only care about what you think of me.” He said

“What are you saying?” I ask.

He came closer to me and pulled my arms.

 He kissed me.

I was shocked, so I pushed him away.

“Mia-“ He was about to apologized but I was embarrassed and ran to the girl’s locker.

‘What? What was that!?’ 

After that incident I kept on avoiding Hyunseung. Until the basketball tournament.

It was already Home time, I packed my stuff and was about to leave but Hyunseng blocked the door.

“Nara, tomorrow…is the tournament. So, the point is…if I win- I mean if we win, you.. have to go out with me!..” He said nervously and left.

My friends were shocked and ran to me

“What was that?!” Gayoon ask

“What did you guys do without telling us?” Jiyhyun ask

“Nothing particular..” I said and walked off

“Nara..” Hyuna said and pat my shoulder

“Tell us..” She said. I started to tell them about the incident

“Well that’s good news right? You always like him!” Jiyoon

“I know but..  he did it out of the blue..I just can’t help being confused..” I said

“Don’t tell me..Your feelings for him changed?” Sohyun ask

“No way! I have always like him!” I said

“Then you should tell him..you can’t just leave him hanging.” Gayoon said

“Then, tomorrow..” I said

We went practised before we went home since tomorrow is the tournament.

=Later on=

Finally, today is the tournament. We were getting ready to start the tournament.

I was about to wished Hyunseung good luck but I can’t seem to find him anywhere

“Gikwang! Where’s Hyunseung?” I ask one of Hyunseung’s friend

“Eh? He was here a minute ago..” He said while looking for him

“Oh..Never mind..” I said and walked back to my friends

“Let’s go!” Hyuna said

We went on the court and do the opening by cheering for our school basketball team.

We cheered the best!

Then, finally the players start to come out and played

I spot Hyunseung running on the court but something is off

‘Why? He’s not energetic as usual..’ 

After a while, I kept on noticing that Hyunseung is feeling a bit uneasy. He kept on making silly mistake. This is not like him.

 

There’s only 1 minute left and 5 more points to go.

Hyunseung catch the ball and shoot! It went in and the basket count!

The game was about to end and our score is a draw!

Hyunseung went to the middle, if he score this then it will be our victory. Everyone is silent.

He is not his usual self, I could see he is nervous. I want the real Hyunseung!

“Wait!” I shouted and everyone started to face me, so does Hyunseung

“Hyunseung! What happen to your usual energy?!  Since I’m your number 1 fan, I really cheer for you and even become a cheerleader so that I can be close to you!” I shouted

“Yah… Nara..” Gayoon was about to stop me but been pulled by Sohyun

“So make sure you win, Idiot!” I shouted.

Hyunseung gave me a smirk and took a deep breath. After a while, he shoot. The ball went in and we won! The time was over and we really did won! Everyone cheered!

The team player celebrate in the middle of the court and after a while, Hyunseung looked at me.

He ran to me and I was scared if he was going to scold me for calling him an Idiot.

“Idiot?! I’m not an Idiot!” He shouted and smacked my head

“Ouch! *Rub my head* I’m sorry~” I said

“Anyway…your answer is?” He ask while rubbing his neck nervously

“Eh?” I said and looked at him confused

“An answer for my con-confession..” He said nervously. I could see that he is blushing

Before I could answer he talk first

“Lately, I can’t seem to get you out of my mind. Am I no good?” He ask

I looked at him and he continued to talk.

“I like you a lot. What do you think of me?” He ask and hold my hands

“I like you since we first met..” I said and hugged him

“Really?! This is awesome!” He said and hugged me tightly

He let go of me and kissed me, passionately~

“We just had our first kiss just now, didn’t we?” He ask and I shook my head saying no

“Annie~ You kiss me a few days ago, don’t you remember?” I ask

“Ah! That’s right..*Chuckled*..It’s the same place. Sorry, Should it have been somewhere more special?” He ask

“No…This place is special. It’s the place where we first met, kiss and confession” I said and link my fingers with his

“Do you want to make this the place where we have our second kiss, third kiss, fourth kiss etc. too then?..” He ask

“What? Are you going to keep track of this?” I ask

“Of course, the time I spent with you is important” He said and we chuckled.

This day is the start where we will always be together. I’m looking forward for my future with him by my side.

I will always remember our first met, kiss and confession. I will treasure it in my heart and will love him until the end.
