CHAPTER 5

It was noon, the sun was shining so brightly, but the weather was cold. It was down to 5°C and even going lower. It might snow soon. Hana thought cheerily.

She was on her way to the coffee house. She was late getting there for she had to attend a meeting with her father in his company, being the junior designer for her father’s new project. But the project won’t be established until a year later, where they have everything settled.

She parked behind the coffee house’s private parking space, which was for management and staff only. What she didn’t expect was the stuff that she had to carry to her office. It was too late to call for anyone’s help, since she was already carrying them. And what she was thinking happened, everything fell on the ground.

Hana cursed under her breath. Then someone chuckled behind her. She turned around and found the blond kid walking towards her.

“I’ll help you, noona.” Sungjong offered and he smiled. She let him help.

Min served them hot chocolate when they both settled on a chair in the store.

After sipping on her drink, she her lips and was cheerful already. Hana turned to Sungjong, “So, what were you doing behind the store? You do know only authorized people can access that.”

“Ah! Sorry. I had to evade some fans. They were pestering me. After seeing you drive by, I just followed you. Sorry about that, I won’t do it again.”

Hana knew there was more to it that what he was saying. It was easy to figure it out.

So, she ended up smiling at him. “Oh, really? I thought you love your fans. Getting annoyed by them, aren’t you?” She put a little sarcasm in her tone which Sungjong didn’t like.

“You know, noona, if you weren’t the owner of this store, and Sunggyu-hyung liking that girl, I wouldn’t even dare have a word with you.” Sungjong spat.

She was right. Sungjong’s true colors came out. She smirked and ruffled his hair and made Sungjong flinch.

“Sungjong, that girl is my little sister, her name’s Min. Then, why did you even start talking to me? You think you can act all mighty because everyone likes you, and everyone compares you to a girl since you act like one. Well, here’s a fact, you are just a kid and you are a boy. This right here,” Hana pointed to herself, “This right here is a real woman. I’m not angry, I’m just telling you these because that’s my nature and I don’t like fighting. You don’t have to like me, I didn’t ask you.”

Before she left for her office, she ruffled his hair again and walked in silence. Sungjong was dumfounded and embarrassed. He didn’t know how to react. He was blushing and asked himself what happened. He didn’t mean what he said to her, but it was too late to take it back. He cursed in his mind.

She really is grown-up. Sungjong thought.

He took a piece of napkin and wrote something. He asked if he can go in Hana’s office and he was let in. Hana was in the middle of making designs when Sungjong entered. She didn’t look up knowing it was him. He left the napkin on her table. It was crumpled.

He quietly left the coffee house.

Hana took the crumpled napkin and opened it. She shook her head in disbelief, but was happy.

Sorry. The note said.

She went back to designing while in her thoughts she couldn’t get him out from her head.

He’s just a boy.

Min saw Sungjong’s expression when he left and thought about how bipolar that guy was. She thought Infinite was some crazy boy group or idol group. It was weird for her to even get invited by one of them.

“Crazy people.” Min said under her breath.

“Who’s crazy?”

Sunggyu asked. He popped right in front of Min. He was grinning. Min just stared at him, not really what Sunggyu was expecting.

“You are.” She said.

“Come on, cheer up. I’m here to make you smile.”

****Sorry. This chapter is too short... I have plans for the 6th chapter, that's why... but still, hopefully by this you'll be craving for more. And I'm so so so sorry for the super late update...
