Mir knew Nana the way no other person ever will. The years they spent together let him learn everything about her, some details she revealed, the others he discovered himself.

For starters, he knew Nana wasn't really all that cold - it's simply a defense mechanism she built early on. She had been orphaned at a young age, and she hated the looks she received from people because of her situation. Instead of letting people look down on her, she decided to distance herself from everyone else. It took a long time for Mir to tear down her walls, but when he did, he knew there was simply no coming back. 

Another thing  he picked up was that she hated being called her real name: Im Jin Ah. He learned this the hard way, when Nana kicked him hard in the groin area the day they first met, when Mir chased after her, calling her Im Jin Ah.

He also knew that she slept with her socks on, something she developed in the cold rooms of the orphanage. He couldn't help but wince each time he imagined his precious angel shivering in a dingy room, suffering from the harsh wind.

Nana also loved lemons; she made the cutest face whenever she ate her precious lemons. Mir would about it, but she'd always brush him off.

But most of all, Mir knew the biggest burden the brunette beauty carried: she had a sister, an older sister, who'd been missing since she was seventeen. Mir saw a picture of her once, stashed in Nana's drawer.

Her sister was the only family Nana had left. The loss of their parents was such a big blow to Nana, but having her sister at her side kept her sane. Mir could only imagine the hurt Nana must've felt when her sister turned up missing. 

Nana  always smiled whenever she recounted the moments she shared with her sister, Mir noted. Sometimes, when she retold the stories of how her sister took care of her or how she worked hard to try and take them both out of the orphanage, a few tears would escape her eyes.

In the first few years, Nana relentlessly searched for her Unnie. But, one day, Nana just gave up, claiming that instead of focusing on finding her, she'd rather focus on making a better life for herself so that when her sister comes back, she wouldn't have to worry about her again. Mir hugged her tightly that day, running a soothing hand across her back. Nana never really gave up, he was sure. But Mir made it his personal mission to make sure she'd find her sister. 

For Nana, he was willing to do anything.

But what if finding the missing girl meant the end of happily ever after?

A/N: Hello, AF community! I'm an avid Mir-everyone shipper but Mir-Nana is way up there on my list. Of course, Mir-Me is number one that lengthy list, but so far, there's only one person in that fan club, so.... so much for that.   I pretty much have the story mapped out already, I'd just have to give the bones some meat. I haven't decided on the length, though. I'll try my best to make this as nice as possible, but I'm still learning how to... well, write.
