The next day at lunch AJ got there sooner and I didn’t have time to run away. Not that I would have been able to anyways with the steel grip Natalie had me in. I was on one side of Natalie and AJ was on the other. I kept quiet the whole time and simply ate my food. I wanted to run away once I ate again, but Natalie prevented it. She wasn’t letting me escape today.

I got to music composition and took my seat. I few minutes later I felt someone sit beside me. I stiffened and turned to see who it was, although I already had my suspicions. Sure enough, there sat AJ. He felt me staring and turned to look at me. He smiled,

“Hi!” I blinked and managed a small smile before quickly turning back to inspect the paper before me meaninglessly. I just needed something to distract me from him.

About a week passed, but I still had yet to say a single word to him. He tried hard to get me to talk.

“So, where are you from?” Nothing. “I’m from Korea. I was born and raised in Seoul. Have you ever been there?” Nothing. “Hmm, well it’s really nice. I bet you’d like it.” There was a pause as he tried to come up with something else to say. “Oh! What kind of music do you listen to?” At this I blushed bright red. Thankfully the class ended just at that moment and I grabbed my stuff and ran.

Another week was gone and he still tried. I actually felt really bad. I mean, I want to talk to him, but I’m too scared. What if I say something rediculous? What if he finds out I’m a fan?

I just don’t know what to do…

That afternoon as I was on my way home from class I saw some of my friends. I decided to go over and greet them. They introduced me to some of their other friends and I spoke kindly with them. Suddenly there was a loud yelp and crash. I turned to see AJ sprawled on the ground. My eyes widened and I ran over to him. I crouched down beside him as he stood up. I tried helping him but he just shrugged me off. He stood and so did I. He began walking away but I touched his arm lightly: my way of asking if he was alright. He whipped around and stared down at me,

“I though you were supposed to be shy.” He stared at me and let the words sink in before turning and storming off.

Oh no.

I arrived home soon after in a fit of tears. Natalie ran over immediately and began questioning me endlessly,

“AJ. He hates me. He saw me talking to some people. I was just being introduced to them, but I talked to them. He’s mad. He thinks I must hate him. Oh no, what do I do?!?!”

“Surely everything will be okay.”

“But it’s not.” She sighed,

“If things aren’t okay tomarrow, I’ll talk to him. Okay?” I didn’t even respond. I just broke down and cried all of my tears.

Sooo... Maybe it sounds like its going a litle fast, but its kinda tedious to read or write about how she ignores him everyday... But I swear this is nowhere near the end, at least as far as I can tell. :)
