FNC ENTERTAINMENT

TRAINEE AUDITION

Tuesday, April 7, 20**

1pm

2ND FLR, ROOM #5

You bite your lower lip while reading the instruction on a piece of paper given to you by FNC's CEO yesterday, you sighed and glanced at yourself in the mirror, were you really ready? what if you messed up? you asked yourself nervously,

suddenly your phone rang on the table, Jonghyun's name was on the screen, your eyes glinted with excitement, he's calling you!,

you grabbed your phone and pressed the answer button hastily,

"Oppa!" you called excitedly,

"Eunah, I missed you.." he voiced and you felt your cheeks heat up,

"Me too.."

"Let's go out, I'm on my way to your house right now, are you still there?" he asked,

"Y-ye, I'm still here" you replied trying not to sound too excited even though your heart's pounding really fast,

"Kidarulkee, I'll be there in a minute"

"Y-ye, I'll be here!"

The phone call ended, you placed your phone on the table and rushed for your rooms window, you couldn't wait for him to come, then you panicked remembering that you were still dressed in your house clothes,

You opened your closet looking for clothes, your eyes landed at the dress that he bought for you on your first date, you smiled, it felt like the perfect time to wear it,

you glanced at yourself in the mirror as you combed your hair, you felt happy about it and you hoped he'd feel the same, you put on your blue glasses and suddenly you felt a tinge of doubt, should I take it off? what if doesn’t match my look?, you bit your lower lip as you remove it, just this day, maybe just this day-

your thoughts were brought to a halt when you heard the door bell ringing, you rushed grabbing your bag in excitement with your glasses still on the other hand,

you descended down the stairs and opened the door in a hurry, you were ready to welcome him with a smile but you were caught off guard when he hugged you, so tight that you couldn’t breathe properly, but you didn't mind, you hugged him back,

you missed him, his scent, his warmth, everything, and you were happy to know he was feeling the same,

A minute has passed and the two of you were still in that position,

"Oppa, not that I don't like your hugs, but I can't breathe" you giggled,

"M-mianhae" he uttered shyly as he pull you back to create distance,

He stared at you from your foot up, he smiled making you blush,

"W-weo?" you asked, Jonghyun pouted, he stared at me and tapped his chin like he was looking for something, 

"Something's missing.." he uttered as he took a step forward closing our distance, he's face inched closer to mine making my cheeks redder than before,

"What is it?" I asked stuttering,

"This" He took the blue glasses from my hand and put it on me,

"There, that’s better.." he said as he moves a step back to fully view my face, he smiled proudly,

"Oppa.." I widened my eyes in surprise,

"Let's go.." Jonghyun held your hand leading you inside his car before you could say anything else,

Your stared blankly into space, your thought drifting far, away from what's really happening, should you tell him about the audition? what if he doesn't like the idea?

"Eunah" you blinked your eyes, your thoughts diminished, you saw his face and the worried expression he had,

"Are you okay?" he asked as he placed the strands of your hair behind your ear,

"Y-ye" you answered while flashing a smile,

"Dont you like it here?" he asked pouting "should we go somewhere else?"

"A-ani, gwenchanayo" you waved reassuringly, "It's just new to me.." you said as your eyes scanned the restaurants classy interior,

Jonghyun had brought you to high class restaurant and ordered a private room just for the two of you, you have never been too such a place and and your dates with him were always simple yet fun, you gulped as you glanced at the food, oppa... this too expensive.., you thought in worry,

"Mianhae, I know it's too much" he uttered looking at the food as well "We should have gone to a different place instead" his ears were red in embarrassment,

"A-ani, I was hungry too.." you said and took a taste of the food, it wasn't a lie, you were really hungry and the food was good, your eyes widened in alarm when you choked some of it, you coughed gasping for air,

"Eunah!" Jonghyun stood from the table in panic, he hurried to your side and gave you the glass of water he had poured,

you grabbed it from him an drank its contents, you sighed in relief as you placed the empty glass on the table, you suddenly heard a chuckle that soon became laughter, you looked up your eyes landing at Jonghyun's amused face,

"Yahh! It's not funny!" you scowled punching him weakly on the chest, you tried to hide your smile, you missed that side of him, you missed him teasing you,

"M-mianhae" He said trying to suppress a laugh, his eyes met yours, and you stared at each other for several seconds until both of you couldn't hold the laughter you had inside…

12:55 PM

You heart started to beat fast, your palms sweaty, you felt nervous as you walked through the hallway of the entertainment building, "Room 5 is here somewhere…" you mumbled following the series of number printed on the doors, finally you came across the door with the number five printed on its top center, you were about to turn the knob when a familiar voiced called you,

"Eunah!" you lifted your head, it was Seunghyun, he waved at you flashing the same lively smile you've seen the last time you saw him,

"What are you doing here?" he asked "CN BLUE'S Practice Room is at the third floor"

"A-ani, I already met Jonghyun this morning" you explained "I intended to go here" you felt yourself blush shyly,

"But this room is for Trainee Audi-" Seunghyun's eyes grew wide at his realization "Eunah.. you're going to Audition??" he asked in surprise,

"Y-Ye" you answered feeling embarrassed, Seunghyun stared at you for a few second then his lips curved into a smile,

"You're gonna do just fine!" he said tapping your shoulder, "Let's go" he said excitedly as he opens the door and leads me in,

The room was big, it had mirrors for walls just like any other practice rooms, and it was spacious enough for band and dance practices, a group of boys and girls were seated at the left side of the room, Auditonee numbers were pinned at the left side of their shirt,

"What are you waiting for?" Seunghyun uttered behind you, you almost forgot he was there, "You need to sign you name on the list" he said pushing you weakly from behind,

As you walk across the room you could see the judges seated on the table, The CEO smiled together with the Talent Director who nodded in recognition, Yonghwa and Hongki had surprise plastered on their faces though you were also surprise that they were judges too,

after signing the list, Hongki and Yonghwa gave you your number, it was 15, you were the last person,

"Good luck, Eunah!" Seunghyun gave you an encouraging smile before you went and joined the group of auditionees for instructions,

The Audition has started, you started to feel tense as the number called increases, seeing the talent of each person called made you doubt yourself, they were good and some were great, maybe even better than you, minutes passed and you number was called,

"Number 15" The Talent Director called, you felt your confidence falter as you stood up and walked to the center of likethe room,

"What's your name?" Yonghwa asked, his lips forming a smile that made you comfortable,

"A-annyeonghaseyo, My name is Kim Eunah"

"Your talent?" Hongki asked trying to suppress a chuckle, you smiled at him,

"Dancing and Singing" you answered, this time more confident, after that you gave the guy next to the camera man a CD you had prepared,

You walked back to the center of the room and the judges nodded meaning that your time had started, you grabbed the microphone from the stand,

you tapped your right feet as the music started, and then you danced the intro following the beat and rhythm of the song, and when it was time, you sang the lyrics soulfully….
