I knew it ever since that time I’d bumped into him. The way his fingers brushed past my hand as he helped me pick up the belongings from my bag. His touch was nothing of a human’s, sending shivers through my spine and causing my heart to stop beating. It was a feeling I’d never felt before, leaving me stunned as he shyly handed me my phone and walked away into the crowd.

Then I tried to find out more, intrigued by the boy. There was no way he was human. He just had to be from some other planet. But the boy wouldn’t let me find out. He shied away whenever I’d try to get close, hiding behind a taller male who seemed not to notice him.

After a while I came to the conclusion I was the only one who could see him. Even my friends questioned my sanity when I mentioned the boy, telling me I shouldn’t still have imaginary friends at my age. But I knew he was real, I’d seen him, felt him. There was no way that he was just a fragment of my imagination, because he seemed so real.

So on that one day where the snow was thick enough for us to be sent home early, I followed him. Deep into the forest and into a fog of secrets and truth.
I will find out the true identity of Byun BaekHyun. Even if it kills me.

The song somehow reminds me of BaekHyun, and since I’ve got this idea, I haven’t been able to update my other fics. So I’ve decided to write this short one shot, which I may or may not turn into a small, continuous story.
