Rules for Round 2
The Sky Is The Limit || Writing Contest (CLOSED)
Round Two: RULES
1. In order to join Round 2, you must comment below stating your wish to participate between October 1st at 12:00 am EST to December 1st at 12:00 am EST.
- Note: If you don't know EST, EST is Eastern Time which is relative to the time in New York in U.S. If you still don't know/understand when your story is due if you're from a different time zone, please contact Lisa or me and we'll try to help you figure it out.
2. Round 2 subround 1 will begin on December 2nd at 12:00 am EST and end on December 19 at 12:00 am EST.
-Note: Each subround will last exactly 2 weeks. (With the exception of Subround 1 and Subround 2)
-Note: You can only submit COMPLETED stories.
3. Participants will be given a list of 10 prompts, which won't be given to you until round 2 actually begins. You must use at least 1 prompt and you must state which prompt you are using in your forewords or description.
4. The judges will be given a 2 day judging period. (Subject to change)
5. A random number of people will be kicked out each subround so don't expect, as an example, 10 people to be kicked out each subround.
6.We highly suggest you write a oneshot/drabble since you only get 2 weeks, but you may write anything as long as it is completed by the deadline. No exceptions!
7. Any genre will do such as tragic or comedy. & Yuri is allowed. is allowed as long as it has a nice plot. I don't want a pure /PWP entry. Entries like those will be rejected.
8. You must also link our contest in your forewords/descriptions.
9. There will only be 1 winner unless stated otherwise (subject to change)
10. Lisa will provide her own prizes & I will also provide my own prizes. We will deliver them to you just like the first round.
-Note: The prizes have not been decided yet. They MAY OR MAY NOT be the same prizes listed for Round 1. Just keep that in mind.
-Note regarding Leila's prizes: For my prizes, I think I might just wait until we pick a winner. Then I will ask that person what artist they like & then provide them with options to choose from. Sound good enough O__O
11. No co-authors. Due to our theme, we decided all woman/man fend for themselves. But beta readers are different. As long as they're willing to provide you with their services without being a co author then it's all good.
Rules are still under construction and are subject to change.
