Description

Art comes to life at the hands of the world famous sculptor Nam Woohyun. He cherishes each of his pieces and gives them names in order to give them a life of their own. When the sun goes down and Woohyun leaves his statues alone for the night, they begin to move. His latest project, Jung Jisun, takes her first steps like a child walking for the first time.

Foreword

This is my entry in the Beyond Infinity Writing Contest. It is inspired by a dance I saw on So You Think You Can Dance and from the prompt "Even if I don't act like it, I pay attention." -Real Story.

Chapter 1: I thought it would be like Night at the Museum but it wasn't. I'm currently reading the entries to the contest you were in. Too bad I was too late to know about the contest.

I thought she would end up with Woohyun at first since he's the sculptor. Well, good luck to you. :)

Chapter 1: Ooh, I like this idea of moving statues. It reminds me of the story of Pygmalion from Greek mythology.

The ending was romantic, but I think it fell flat because Hoya's character wasn't developed enough. Jisun spent night after night with Dongwoo, and that entire time Howon was a mystery and a stranger to her. While he might have had the time and reasons to fall in love with her, the reverse wasn't true. She got to talk to him for maybe two minutes, and I can't really find "love" in that. The relationship between Jisun and Howon seemed to hinge almost entirely on the fact that Woohyun intended for them to be paired together and nothing more. I'd be inclined to ship Jisun and Dongwoo over Jisun and Howon.

Constructive criticism mode aside, I wish you luck in the contest. :)

Ohmyawesomness! Ohmygod!! What are you? A writing Goddess??!? This story right here, is truly a masterpiece!!! I love this so so much!!!! I'm not gonna say much. Everything is PERFECTION; the grammar, the storyline, the characters, the title. Everything!
