Letters, Petals and Dessert
Description
Two things that defined inspiration in my world, books and baking.
I met him at the local library, and we shared letters… or should I say post-its. I found him intruding and it made curious. My visits became regular and so did he. Over time we shared more than post-its, the silence broke and he let me in his world or art and I let him in my world of fiction and deserts. Post-its became petals and the spice of petals tingled on our tongues with the sweetness of desert.
Foreword
He passed a note with a single purple petal and I looked at him questioningly. He nodded in the direction of the note encouragingly and I reached out to it.
[ eat it ]
I looked at him as if he was crazy and he continued to smile at me. At this point I thought he couldn’t get any weirder. He pushed the note along with the petal closer to me with an assuring look. I couldn’t bring myself to imagine the taste of the petal or why anyone would eat a flower but in the same way I was curious about him, I felt the same about the taste of the petal on my tongue.
hello! so i had to post the story again cuz it was removed during the website maintenance i guess :c
my bunnies~! lol its not all about flowers again :o -- i hope aff doesnt remove it again! i lost my subbies! *sobbing*
i'll post this for now and see what happens with all this maintenance going on.
