Description
Snarky, apathetic, and jaded, Jia is a professional pickpocket stealing from others to earn her continued survival. Skilled and intuitive, she's never been caught once. She thinks she had it the best it could possibly be when one day she is apprehended and receives a mysterious offer that could change her situation for good...
Along the path of new fortune and in the alien culture she's been into, Jia thinks she might actually be starting to feel love.
And for the first time in her life, she's scared.

This started out as a oneshot for my best friend Min and it's dedicated to her~

Main Characters:
Meng Jia
Jia, due to the culture of her trade, is not exactly what you would call goody-goody. Due to the hard knocks of life as an orphan, living with others who deal in the side against the law, she's cynical, apathetic, and dripping with sarcasm. Bucket of sunshine, right?
She's also very good at what she does. As in very good: she's never been caught once. As much as she's definitely faced hardships growing up, there is one thing that is alien to her: failure. This has built her up to be extremely... confident in her abilities. Let's see her get taken down a peg.
Despite all this, she's actually a good person in her own twisted way. She means well deep down and cares for those she loves, though her hardened image will never allow her to admit it. You just have to keep polishing the rock 'til you see the diamond.
